On the contrary: the echo was intentional on my part because I wasn't sure exactly how to translate it so I figured i'd experiment and see what the results would be like... apologies if it wasn't 1:1 with what you envisioned 😅 appreciate your feedback though!

Curious potential dubbing question: what would you imagine Sonic in full final gaiahog form sounding like? I imagine it's a different sounding filter compared to his previous forms 🤔

The previous forms gradually strenghened the werehog strain. Like first werehog its only strained and slightly darker but in shamar/holoska he has full on regular werehog voice. And on prison island when he yells at shadow his voice starts to reverberate, like his body, his throat, is too small to really properly produce the sound. First of all the feeling should be otherworldly and divine.

For sonic i forgot to put a visual filter on the words but for other cgaracters i made it very visual when i want there to be a divine reverberation..... ;3 you'll see very soon....

That fact that you drew Movie Werehog Sonic in a way that his shoes never change is very smart and makes SO MUCH SENSE movie logic-wise and you are the first artist I've seen to pull that off flawlessly!!

I just think he's neat :)

Gonna have 2 parts coming out after this one hopefully, really wanted to get to more meat with the Fleetway au. Its really fun exploring a character who would make the world burn if it meant saving a few people

Sonic Unleashed reoccurring thought I had for a long while now (especially with the unofficial PC port recently being out because I don't have the game but SONIC UNLEASHED MY BELOVED):

Am I the only one who has always wondered if Sonic ever got any chance to sleep or take a nap in this game? Like?? At all??? Like I understand the whole constantly transforming into a Werehog at night and back into a hedgehog at the daytime back and forth kinda deal, but still. That must put SO MUCH STRESS on his sleep cycle/circadian rhythms 😭

(yes I know there's an idle animation that exists of him in Werehog form sitting there and yawning but still)

Sonic Mini-Comic: "A Warped Perspective"

About a week ago, I was sorta... playing around with Sonic's morality in my head (as you do) trying to gain a better understanding of his view of Eggman, freedom of choice, etc. When I came to the bit about "change"... well, there-in fell the idea for this comic :)

I always felt like Sonic's amnesia relating to the Warp Topaz in IDW would have been a lot of fun to play with if it could have been an inverse of Eggman's situation with Mr. Tinker. I.e. the Warp Topaz warps Sonic's mental state and corrupts his super form, giving us a mainline interpretation of Fleetway Super Sonic :)

Also, just a quick shout out to everyone whose followed me recently. I really appreciate it! More comic stuff to come soon!
