thinking  about  how  it  would  take  a  seriously  secure  person  to  date  wenna ,  but  on  the flip  side ,  she’s  an  incredibly  attentive  partner  because  of  her  ability  to  anticipate  their  needs .

REMUS  TURNED  HIS  BACK  ,  LEANING  AGAINST  THE  BRIDGE  BANISTER  ,  hands  in  pockets  &&  left  knee  slightly  bent  ,  the  rest  of  the  pressure  taken  off  &&  placed  simply  on  his  right  leg  instead  .  watching  her  with  a  raised  eyebrow  as  she  laughed  &&  admitted  otherwise  .  a  slight  smile  playing  on  his  cheeks  then  as  she  told  him  that  the  rest  of  her  classmates  were  inside  avoiding  this  cursed  weather  .  a  slight  tilt  to  his  head  followed  before  he  cleared  his throat  &&  tilted  his  head  down  .  “  too  MUCH  ?  ”  he  asked  ,  curious  for  a  second  before  then  letting  it  fall  to  the  side  .  if  she  wanted  to  let  him  know  ,  she  would  .  she  knew  that  he  was  always  there  ,  no  matter  &&  he  liked  to  hope  that  he  was  a  trusted  teacher  .  his  expression  softened  as  she  then  made  to  LEAVE  .

“  no  no  ,  ”  he  said  ,  lifting  his  head  &&  glancing  to  see  the  rain  sputter  down  in  waves  .  “  i  wouldn’t  dream  of  it  ,  by  all  MEANS  ,  go  ahead  ,  i  think  i’ll  return  to  my  office  for  some  tea  ,  ”  he  stood  straighter  ,  trying  to  ignore  the  shooting  pain  in  his  knee  .  tongue  clicking  ,  he  glanced  back  at  her  .  “  feel  free  to  JOIN  ,  but  if  you  are  going  to  continue  forth  ,  i  recommend  a  drying  spell  .  or  at  least  ,  an  UMBRELLA  ,  ”

                                     a jolt of pain that does not belong to her shoots through morwenna’s body .  a light shiver trembles her shoulders ,  but otherwise she does not react .  she’ll play it off as a reaction to the chill if she must .  she’s seen him in photos from her parents’ school days and from when the order was just beginning ,  usually in the background .  professor lupin has aged considerably more than she thinks he should have .  “  hmm ,  ” she hums in response to his first question ,  noncommittal .  he’s like her ,  morwenna muses ,  not just a wizard or witch but something else too .  somedays there are dark circles under her eyes too ,  her clothes tend to hang off of her shoulders as food is occasionally hard to keep down .  morwenna wonders if he’s been told that she’s an empath ,  and if not ,  why ?  the other teachers all know  ...  just incase she has a meltdown and needs to be contained .  she doesn’t mind for others to know about her ,  but it does inevitably change how they behave around her .

                                     for the most part ,  morwenna is content to be disliked or liked by those around her .  she’s used to others’ opinions .  but something in her very much would like for professor lupin to think well of her ,  so despite the fact that it’ll mean that she once again must enter the castle and that she’ll have to spend a prolonged amount of time with him ,  morwenna agrees to his offer .  “  a cup of tea sounds lovely ,  ”  she admits ,  determined to mean it ,  “  i think i overestimated my hardiness by coming out into the rain without any real protection .  ”
