just so y’all know

everyone is on a multi making craze and it got me thinking,,,,

there are about 5 other muses i could bring back around. from overw.atch, from db.h, and i could put bill, huntress, and claudette on there so i would have more incentive to be active with them as muses? bc the reason why im not active on some accounts is just, the constant switching and logging in and out. i hate that. 

so i think im going to make a multi. i havent run a multi since 2011, so im a little lost as to where to even start but, that’s what i’ll be working on within the next few days (im still just trying to think of a url that’s not fucking taken)

i think moving my muses over there will also give me back some inspiration and motivation to write? ive been really struggling with motivation lately, thus why i havent been writing here.

i’ll be talking with people i have threads with if they want them transferred over to that blog and what not, i still havent 100% decided if i will move claudette and huntress over there but, it’s looking like i probably will just pack all of my muses onto that blog.

NAME.   Claudette Morel. ARE YOU SINGLE?   Yes. ARE YOU HAPPY?    I always try to look on the bright side of things. ARE YOU ANGRY?   Not particularly. ARE YOUR PARENTS STILL MARRIED?   Yes. They’ve been married almost twenty-seven years. Or was it twenty-eight now?

SECTION II.   nine facts.

BIRTHPLACE.   Montreal, Canada. HAIR COLOUR.    Black. EYE COLOUR.   Dark Brown. BIRTHDAY.   March 20th, 1993. MOOD.   Neutral. GENDER.   Gender is a fluid thing, in my opinion. I don’t like to put a label on it regarding myself. SUMMER OR WINTER?   Oh, I miss Summer. The sun, the heat, reading books in the shade ... MORNING OR AFTERNOON?   Morning. I always have been a morning person.

SMILE OR EYES?   Eyes are ever so much more expressive than a smile. SHORTER OR TALLER?   I don’t mind. INTELLIGENCE OR ATTRACTION?   Intelligence I suppose. HOOK-UPS OR RELATIONSHIP?   Relationships. I have absolutely no interest in a “hook-up”.

SECTION VII.   family.

DO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY GET ALONG?   Yes. I had a rather nice life at home. WOULD YOU SAY YOU HAVE A “MESSED UP LIFE”?   Not until now. HAVE YOU EVER RAN AWAY FROM HOME?   No. I am ever fortunate to have not needed a reason to. HAVE YOU EVER GOTTEN KICKED OUT?   I don’t think my parents ever dreamed of it. In fact, they were shocked and upset when I announced I was moving out of Montreal for University.

SECTION VII.   friends.

DO YOU SECRETLY HATE ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS?   No. I don’t have many friends to start, why would I keep any around that I hate? DO YOU CONSIDER ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS TO BE GOOD FRIENDS?   Maybe not good friends. But good people at heart. WHO IS YOUR BEST FRIEND?   My cat, Clover. WHO KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU?   ... Clover.

oh i have lotS of headcanons and lots of little things. like, back home claudette has a british shorthair cat, (also known as british greys), umm. she was 22 when she was taken to the fog, she’s now 25 (assuming aging works the same way) she keeps a drawn out calender in a notebook she took from Lery’s, which also acts as her botanical journal keeping track of all of the plants in the fog. progressively being in the fog has made her a stronger person, in all of the wrong ways. annnd there’s lots more but i hope that suffices as an answer uvu.

when i was,,, 15??? yeah. i was writing fanfic like left and right for the first fandom i was ever in, which happened to be team fortress 2 (and other valve games). but that game was my first real hyperfixation, for whatever reason. but, fanfic wasn’t cutting it for me. i needed something more? of like a creative outlet for this burning passion i had for this game. and like no one i talked to understood what the fuck i was talking about when i gushed about it and it was kind of like, a total shut down when no one is interested in your passion for something.

and i felt. there had to be people like me. i was on dA at the time, i knew rpc’s existed, i just didn’t know how to find them.

then, my friend owen, who was into wreck it ralph at the time, introduced me to a site called tumblr in late 2011, and from there i saw that yes indeed there was a whole rpc of people just as passionate as me for these characters. so i made my first rp blog called ask-theblu-team. (it is no longer up)

so tl;dr really it was all about, seeking out nerds just as passionate as me and wanting to create something with them to also fulfil,, their interest?? if that makes sense. that’s why i began rping, and that’s why ive never stopped.

well. i mean here comes the favoritism ;0 (not really) but @miistwalkers  is an rper i’ve admired for over a year now. there’s probably countless asks/posts on my archived blog of me gushing about her writing, she’s heard me say in practically every way how much i love her writing, but i won’t stop. i can’t get enough of it, really. it’s writing you never want to put down. hell, rps that have nothing to do with me i get a kick out of reading just because i just love the way she expresses inner dialogue, thought processes, the way she can convey emotion. i can only fucking dream of honing my writing skills to do the same one day. there’s also @voidvoyeur who has just fantastic characterization and an extremely creative way of writing and conveying their character. then there’s you, goodness do i practically drool over when you and crow write together. it’s like taking two creative geniuses and mashing them together and just,,,,

tbh to be honest i’m probably stupid, and i just don’t get what this one means? it’s kind of vague. relationship with my muse. like my relationship with my muse? like how i connect with them? i’m gonna go with that.

claudette holds a very special place in my heart because of a really personal connection which is both great and unfortunate. it means that 1) i won’t leave her any time soon and 2) i am emotionally invested in her. i’m not gonna get into all of the details but. she is a character that is probably one of the more important characters ive written. there’s only like 2 others that i’ve written that sit on the same level.

☾: Favorite moment from your Muse’s canon, and why

THE 👏 OPENING 👏CINEMATIC 👏

why? because it introduces the first survivors in the fog! it’s presumably the first, or one of the first trials. they’re all frightened. claudette is so panicked that she makes mistakes, not looking behind her until it’s too late, and it ends up costing her her own life and consequently jake’s. it’s a lesson learned, and learned well. and it’s cost her dearly in the following years. not just from trauma, but strained relationships.

Seldom has he found impatience a profitable value to hold in this brave new world. A hunter must never allow the urgency of thrill force muscles to act too quickly–no, there is more pleasantry to be found in the wait. Stalk, then strike. It is the same mindset he applies to this; the other’s petrification suffocates the senses in its acerbic nature, her muscles QUIVER beneath his stare, it is the very image of terror stretched across small form. 

It is in her hesitance that patience finds reward. 

The glasses bear heavier weight the longer they stay in his hold. It isn’t a burden he wishes to continue holding–too easily does one slip into compassion and steers from the Entity’s influence, it’s a dangerous game to play. Not one he indulges in too often. 

Ojomo is grateful when that hand plucks mangled frames from skeletal fingers; a quick, fleeting gaze to the piece that snaps back into the palm ( odd, he had not believed them so terribly destroyed upon first glance ) before it strikes back to the flighty bird before him. She trembles and WEEPS. 

Form wracks and the beast is left to guardianship; a stagnant foe left to stand his ground in silence, he simply follows falling tears as they slide over dirt-streaked cheeks. 

What is he meant to do? 

She sobs and appreciation comes through in staggered, soft-spoken words. Another oddity she throws at him–kindness, gratitude, in the face of a reaper whose claws still held scraped flesh beneath them. He won’t deny her the right ( no matter how questioned it may be, he remains stilled and stoic against the urge to question ) but the eyes would betray. A brief, subtle flicker from her to emptiness. 

Stifle that vein of HUMANITY. Suffocate the pinprick of empathy that creeps along the mind and encourages a step towards comfort. Bury it. 

Focus drifts onto the piece still held in hand. It’s contained neatly over muddied flesh, soon to be rolled into spindly fingers in order to examine the loosened hinge–she is lucky it was not SNAPPED, it was a workable destruction that had befallen the accessory. 

A cold snort. Interrupting. 

He’s moving again, but not towards. Away. Taking the broken piece with him, Ojomo steps silently towards the direction of Autohaven’s gas station, only a second taken to glancing over covered shoulder to see if she would follow ( he intended her to, expected ) but stride remains unforgivingly steady.

To weep before the beast is so foolish, this she knows-- (don’t give them the satisfaction) though she cannot stop herself as fingers graze crooked frames. Not only the disadvantage of poor sight leaves her frightened-- but the fragile things were the last she has to remind her of the world outside of this place. They were something much more than a pair of spectacles-- now destroyed. 

She’d no clue if the frames would fix themselves the next time she would perish. She always seemed to return to this world with them upon her face, just slightly crooked like the night she had been taken-- always requiring an adjustment with the fingertips.

And-- the killer. He brings them to her. And she’s frightened. How many times had she seen the cruelty of the hands she’s just grazed.

Far too many.

Her sobs fall to tense silence between them.

Then, he moves. He walks away. Leaving her kneeling in the dirt.

He has the temple of her glasses in hand, she requires it if she is ever to fix them.

She swiftly stands, hands curling up to her chest as she watches steady stride towards autoheaven’s dilapidated gas station-- catching sight of his subtle glance over shoulder.

Numbly, she steps forward. It’s nearly a stumble but she catches herself in another step forward. This is stupid. It’s forceful to follow, everything screams to run-- painfully slow pace compared to his own long strides as she basks in contemplation of running or following. But eventually, she’s there, presence ticking the still operating bell at store’s entrance.
