Ellie gasps when they are tugged back -- then taking a deep breath before turning to the other. "Thanks," She says, nodding in Lyanna's direction. Truthfully, they weren't really used to cars either. Horseback was the more common way of traveling post-apocalypse, as gas was scarce. "Yeah, I kind of feel the same way, honestly." They shrug their shoulders. "I'm not from this world, we mainly traveled by riding horses."

"Careful." Lyanna managed to grab the other's wrist and pull them back before the car went flying past. "I absolutely hate cars and will never get used to them." She preferred horses, always would.

"Sorry, man. Didn't mean to scare ya," Manny replies, laughing a little. "That would suck, massively. I've never been electrocuted before, but I can only imagine how shitty it feels. Have you been electrocuted?"

"Dude, I almost tased you! You scared the shit out of me.." Glenn clutched his chest, being a little dramatic. However, that's how he was in life anyway. Glenn liked to be dramatic. He enjoyed making people laugh in terrible situations. "Then you would have been like, electrified..and multiplying. Like the guy from Grease."

"Phoenix." Jane nods -- at the other's sudden presence. "Have you been well? I must say, I am feeling encouraged about the population of vampires here, in Washington D.C. What do you think?"

"Alec, it is such a relief to see you in this strange place." It was very bizarre to her -- that things had suddenly changed, and that the Volturi were all scattered about. She much preferred when they all lived in Volterra together. "How long have you been here?"

"Master, it is good to see you." Jane hadn't been in D.C. long, but wondered what the plan was -- for the Volturi, since their leader was here. "Have you been well?"

"Oh, I'm sure. But I guess it depends on which version of Georgia you're from." It was all very confusing, Clem didn't know how to explain it. "There was definitely an apocalypse, though."

She blinked a few times, trying to find the words to say without being utterly disrespectful to the other. "I mean I'm from Georgia too and it seemed fine when I left it - are you sure?"

"Yeah. Not convenient because cops are dumb, necessarily, but," Dexter nods, then shrugs. "Because I can find my victims easier that way. People who slip through the cracks of the justice system." He explains. "She's smart, yeah. But that doesn't mean she has me figured out."

"Hm. That's convenient for you, isn't it?" Billy had to admit he was a bit impressed with the other, even though he would never admit that. "I mean, some cops are kinda dumb, let's hope your sister is a smart one."

"Architecture, not a bad gig at all. I helped do some building back home -- repairs on houses," Siddiq shrugs as he sees to Joel's injury. He cleans it and begins stitching it with care, he was careful with all of his patients. "But being a doctor is what I prefer. Less dangerous, if you can believe it."

Joel follows, moving to take his seat on the exam table, glad it didn't take too long for him to be seen. "Well the fancy word for it is architect but i basically build buildings and homes for folks." he nodded. "i got some new folks i'm training and accidents happen."

"No need to make sure. Don't think I really need to do it again," Manny points out, shrugging yet again. He had more of a reason to before -- for Abby. "I have no idea how I ended up here, either." He sighs, "It's very weird."

Dina sighed, shaking her head slightly. She had told herself that whatever this place was, she wanted to see it as a new chance, an opportunity to raise her son in a safe world, where they didn't have to worry about the infection or raiders and everything in between. "Well, you did it once before, for no reason I might had. Just wanted to make sure." Dina sat by the counter, before ordering herself a drink as well. "What does it seem like I'm doing? Came for a drink." She paused. "If you mean DC, your guess is as good as mine, I have no idea how I ended up here."

"It is quite unfortunate, yes. Not much of a loss, however." Armand shrugs his shoulders. They were his coven, but he hadn't cared for them deeply. He didn't care for anyone too deeply, as a matter of fact. Mostly just Louis, and yet -- he had hurt him, by taking away his Claudia. "I suppose they were not." He nods. "How peculiar. I am sure that will come in handy, at some point."

"i guess they weren't as lucky as me." this time a small smile was on her lips and nodded at the last thing he said. "of course, i'm enjoying the city. no one dies here, is very...interesting to say the least." it means endless torture for some people, she is going to enjoy that when she gets her hand on him.

"Thanks," Hannah says, shrugging her shoulders. "I guess you're right. That makes the most sense, anyways." She pauses, "I should probably go to therapy for it."

(¸.• ♛ → it is. she wanted to say because she was like that, very blunt and she never liked hannah, especially how she clearly was throwing herself to a taken man. but she controlled her tongue, of course. "i suppose is not." she says with a small shrug. "i read somewhere that is hard to get rid of traumatic experiences." it happened to her, it was hard but she was trying to deal with it and she has mike as well.

This 'polite' behavior from Caius was certainly unexpected -- and Jasper didn't know how to take it, truthfully speaking. He didn't know what the Volturi were up to right now, if they were planning anything. And he hadn't seen Alice recently enough to ask if she'd had any visions about them. "Yeah, we are." He replies, except he also hadn't seen much of his family here at all. He knew they were here, but they weren't living together like before. As usual, he'd proceed with caution. "And how have you been, Caius?"

"ah a cullen. i wondered when i run into one of you here." he'd known they were around here but honestly it was at the bottom of his priorities to check in on them. "jasper, i take it you and your family are adapting to this city well."

"Is it really that bad?" Lydia asks, an empathetic look forming on her features -- as well as a frown. She only wanted the best for her friend, but she knew how rough college could be. "Right, okay. That sounds good to me."

"Just let it happen, I've made peace with god," she huffed dramatically as she blew some hair out of her face. "Something that will make my heart explode from all the caffeine in it"

"Weapon? What kind of weapon?" Margot asks -- out of pure curiosity, and nothing more. She wasn't afraid of Jinx, she knew the other had no reason to hurt her, and therefore would not hurt her without good reason. "Oh, nothing, really. My wife is here, which is a huge relief... though we're still in danger."

"hey, if it isn't my sister from another mister.. " she smiles that manic one that usually posed itself on her face, "-I've been fantastic, been working on a few different things and finally finished my newest weapon. " she chimes, "-oh right, what have you been up to? I'm expecting juicy deets." jinx teased.

"Many strange things happen in this city, but having a dragon as a human companion has to be a gift. I do not know what else it would be, otherwise." Rhaenyra points out. "Good, I am glad to hear that." They nod. "And how does Daenerys feel about your sudden human form? She was not eager to meet more of her family, I must say."

Drogon titled their head to the side. "Well, trust me, I did not know that it was possible either." They told them, letting out a sigh. "It is quite strange, but I think I'm adjusting to it quite well." Drogon nodded their head. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Rhaenyra. You are the first Targaryen I meet, besides Daenerys."

"Doing great," Alicia says -- trying to encourage the other. "Keep going, I can take it." It was much easier to hold the bag than she expected it to be, as long as she kept some of her weight pressed against it. She appreciated how tough Clove was.

"cool." she waits for alicia to get into a position that will benefit both of them, before lashing out at the bag with her full strength as soon as the other indicates she's ready. not that it genuinely helps at all, but it feels good to hit something.

"Yes, I think so." Lisbeth nods, smiling slightly. They could only hope so, anyways. If the two of them could not beat the odds together, then Lisbeth did not know what she would do. Die, evidently, from the horrors in this city. "I am not the biggest fan of people, either, if I am being honest." They shrug, "Yes, exactly."

"you think we would beat the odds by going together? You know, I'd be willing to try it the next time." tori admitted with a nod. "i would say avoid them too but sometimes i think i have fomo even though i don't like people." she nodded. "see, you get it."
