“T-Takanari-sama! I… came to visit Shizumasa-sama… But he’s sick… So I thought it might have been best to just head back home…” She said softly, an obviously dejected look on her face. Her heart was pounding again, damnit why did this happen?! Today was supposed to be the day she could fill her heart with Shizumasa-sama. Not be completely confused by the twins. “I… guess I should head home then…” 

She walked down the street and looked around. Which way had she even come from? “O-Oh… Wait… was home this way? Or that way? I… can’t really remember!” She frowned and she waved her arms, unsure which way to go. She didn’t want to ask Takanari-sama for a ride or to walk her home. Well this was quite troublesome. 

Placed his hands in his pockets and looked to Haine. At least she didn't lie to him what she was doing here as Toya had told him Haine came here for Shizumasa. "Are you leaving?" Starring at her silently before nodding to her.

Watching her walk down the street and looked around before covering his mouth with his fingers as he saw her struggle, knowing she didn't know the way back. Waiting for a moment to see if she would ask him herself but seeing as she didn't he told.

"I'll walk you home, it's a nice day outside."

Haine groaned slightly when the emperor had taken her into his arms. She leaned her head onto his chest. “T…” She whispered almost as if she knew that Takanari was the one who had picked her up. But that couldn’t be possible right? 

When she woke up she was in the nurse’s office. She sat up in the bed. “W-What happened…? I was in the garden… And I passed out… How did I get here?” She whispered to herself. She sighed and felt her forehead. “Another fever huh? I have no choice I guess… After all… I have been getting into a lot of thinking…” She whispered.

“Geez…” She whispered and she got off the bed. “I should probably head home… Being here will do me no good right?” She said to herself. She looked around and Senri-sensei didn’t seem to be around. She did wish she could thank whoever brought her to the nurse’s office. But that would have to happened another time. She needed to get home after all. 

Sighed as he walked down the halls near the nursery, looking for Senri and not being able to find him. "That sicko is probably flirting with some girls again..." Hope Haine is okay...Walking back to the nurses office and finding Haine awake. 

"Oh Haine! You okay? How you feeling?" he said while closing the door of the nurses office. Walking over to her and leaning down to face her. "When I found you in the garden, for a second I thought you were dead...Why did you get such a bad fever? I felt how hot you were when I carried you here."

Haine managed to get through her classes with her fever. Everyone would ask her if she was okay but she would shake it off and smile as usual to her friends. And then saw she had PE with the emperor. She blushed thinking about the day before again and changed into her PE uniform. She really didn’t want to go to class. Her mind would start getting all confused and she wouldn’t be able to think straight. She pulled on her gym shirt and ran outside. She could already see him, the emperor looking as amazing as he always did. 

Haine couldn’t do this. Forget this! She was going to skip like a Yanki would do! Or at least go to the nurse. But she had to make sure the emperor didn’t see her. She rushed back inside to the locker room and changed back to her student council uniform. She asked Ushio to tell the teacher she went to the nurse and ran off to the nurse’s office. But then she stopped. “Wait… Senri-sensei works for the Togu family… So I can’t go there…” She whined and sighed. Where could she go to?

Haine blinked at looked at the Royal Garden. She was the Platinum… That meant she could go in there without getting points taking away right? Well yeah… So Haine travelled into the garden and sighed. This was much more relaxing than being in class. She picked a particular tree in the middle of the garden and relaxed. She hadn’t cut class in a while… She was starting to feel bad about it. Maybe she really should head for the nurse… Haine got up and began to walk over to the nurse… but before she could even leave the garden, she started to get dizzy and she fainted. “S-Sh… Takanari-sama…” She whispered before losing conscious.

Looked to the time and realized it was time for PE, his least favorite class. He really do anything in that class anyway, he mostly slept against a tree or something. Standing from his chair and going into his dressing room to change.Returning back into the room with the male student PE uniform and walking to the outside. 

How he hated this class, leaning against a nearby wall, shaded by a tree, and crossing his arms over his chest. Searching the area silently before closing his eyes as he relaxed. Maybe it would be best not to see Haine today..No, I mustn't see her now. It would be best if I did later..

Pushing himself off the wall and looking around once again before deciding to go to the garden on which he spent most of his silent time there. Not seeing Haine anywhere and deciding that was a good thing. Walking down the hall and entering the Garden. Looking for his favored tree before stopping in his steps. Catching sight of a limp Haine on the floor and quickly going to her. Getting on his knees and lifting her up slightly into his arms. Looking down to her "Haine? Haine! Wake up this instant!" leaning down and pressing his forehead against hers "Damn, giving yourself a fever again..."

The emperor sighed and lifted the Platinum up into his arms gently, holding her closely and making sure not to drop her before turning and leaving the Garden. Walking to the nurses office and placing her down on a bed, going to go look for Senri.

Haine blushed and covered her mouth the minute he walked away. Why did this have to happen? It would have been easier for Takanari-sama to just hate her like he used to. But no, he loved her… Shizumasa-sama loved her. And she loved the both of them. What the hell was she supposed to do? She couldn’t talk to the council members about it. Or her family. Everyone believed that there was one Togu… and that was Shizumasa-sama. Haine could feel her body start to get feverish as she thought about it and she ran home as quickly as she could. 

She ran upstairs and covered her ears as best as she could. There were tears in her eyes and she couldn’t do anything about it. The beat of her heart was loud. She almost thought Takanari-sama could hear it earlier. Stop… Stop my beating heart… Because the louder you beat… the more I can’t breathe with that person. She laid on her bed and covered her face with her pillow. 

The next day she rushed out of the house and to school. Even though she wasn’t up for it at all and there was the Takanari of it all, she had to work at school to get money to help out the Otomiya family. So she stayed away from the student council as much as she could. But then the bell rang and she had to go to class in her uniform with everyone else. She couldn’t get away with that. Damn she wish she could. But she could skip class like a normal Yanki… Haine shook her head. “No! I mustn’t let this get to me! I am Shizumasa-sama’s platinum! And no way am I letting what happened get to me! You can do this Haine! Don’t be a fickle Cinderella!”

He groaned as soon as he returned back home, silently walking up the stairs into his bedroom and falling flat onto his bed. Sighing softly before covering his face with his palms. "Why did I have to fall in love with her?.." he spoke lightly before turning on his side to look out the window near his bed. "Haine..You'll know everything soon..." and with that he closed his eyes and slept.

Awakening bright and early the next day by the servants and getting dressed into his Imperial Academy uniform. Walking back down the stairs and skipping breakfast as usual before getting into his car. It was going to be a long day at school and he really didnt know what to do about Haine but he was just going to be normal.

Arriving at the school early, as usual, and opening the gates as he entered. Walking into the school, looking around and becoming silent with the other student before going to student council room. Sitting down at his desk now and looking through his paper work, remembering he had Psychical Education with Haine later.

Haine looked down at the ground. “Takanari-sama… I can’t do this. And we both know it… I… I am Shizumasa-sama’s Platinum… That’s what the school believes… That’s what everyone else believes. I can’t do this… He… is the person I love. I’m sorry.” She bowed to him and tried to walk away. She saw him stop her and say he was going to try and steal her from him and she blushed. She wouldn’t be able to resist him if he did… Stop it Haine! You fickle Cinderella you! You love SHIZUMASA-SAMA. No she loved them both… And she couldn’t do anything about this heart that beat for both of them.

Listened carefully to her words, he didn't believe half of what she was saying. Every word she seemed to say struck a needle into his heart, not really knowing what to do for now and only moving away from her slightly. Staying silent as he looked down while blushing slightly before looking to her "You are my Platinum, not Shizumasa's, he isn't even here..I'll make you mine one day...and soon..." he said before looking away "I'll see you tomorrow at the Academy.." he concluded before turning and walking away.

Haine blushed and looked down. “I…” She couldn’t tell him how she felt. She loved him. Dear god, she loved him. He was the person she had grown to love. That cold shell and yet that smile that he had reserved just for her sometimes. His strong will and stubbornness. But… He wasn’t the person who saved her that night, the author of her favorite book, and he has fought her constantly so she would forget those precious nights with Shizumasa-sama. Now she knew why. “I’m… Sorry…” She didn’t know what else to say. That she was in love with both him and Shizumasa-sama? Was that even possible?

Looked to her, watching her closely and looking for anything if possible. What was this! He had confessed to this girl and all she could think about is his twin younger brother. He had fallen for this girl he used to utterly hate. Her warming smile and kind personality..He could only smile mostly for her and now...Starring and thinking carefully, didn't she love Shizumasa only because of that time he saved her and the lie of him making her precious book. No! It was me who made that book. Can I tell her that? What would it do? No I musn't...at least not yet. "Then...I'm going to have to take you from him."

“No… I can’t do this. Takanari-sama… I… I’m supposed to be in love with Shizumasa-sama…” She whispered. “Whether you’re pretending or not… Or in love with me or not. I can’t do this. This isn’t right… Shizumasa-sama… Your brother…” She said.

Stared at her silently, not knowing how to do this anymore. "I don't care about that. I want to know how you feel, Haine."he said. What was this beating of his beating heart, what was going on? Maora said Haine liked him, ... he lied.

Haine blushed as the male had taken her into his arms and kissed her. But this wasn’t right… She wasn’t supposed to… She didn’t want to stop though. She closed her eyes. This felt right… She felt safe and at home with him… With Takanari-sama. Wait… But this was Takanari-sama… Not Shizumasa-sama. She pushed him away. “Takanari-sama… I can’t do this… You know I can’t…” 

Takanari held her as he kissed her, wishing she would understand before blushing and looking away as she pushed him away. "I'm not...Pretending..." he said softly before looking at her in the eyes again. Quickly wrapping his arms around her and hugging her closely "I love you, Haine." he confessed "I love you!" he blushed. He didn't want to lose her. Not anymore.

What was going on here? Haine was getting nervous. The way he was touching her hand and leading her to this place. Haine blushed and looked down. What was happening to her heart? She looked directly at the male. “Yes? Takanari-sama?”

He took in a soft breath, thinking of how to say this, looking up to the sky before turning his attention to her. Starring directly into her eyes and blushing slightly himself. Reaching out and grabbing her hands as he pulled her close and pressing his lips against hers, kissing her and wrapping an arm around her waist.
