His hands slowly drifted behind his head, his usual goof-ball grin spreading across his lips. "And who knows, maybe I'll even become a strong Keyblade Master like you, too!"

He chuckled and nodded his agreement. “Yes, we will. Kairi’s a quick learner—soon enough she’ll be ready for adventures too and then the bad guys had better watch out.” After all the things they’d been through it seemed as though some of Sora’s unwavering optimism had rubbed off on Riku.

"Of course, Riku!" Sora cupped his hand beside the other's ear, whispering into it. "To be honest, I'm pretty scared of her myself-- But those other guys? No way!" He grinned, pulling away and chuckling to himself. "We'll be the best team ever! All for one, and one for all!"

“I know that. Just don’t say it to her face. I doubt she wants to feel like a damsel in distress, you know? She needs our support, not that we baby her.”

“I say we need to look out for each other, all three of us, yeah?” The last thing he wanted was that they’d end up worlds apart from each other again.

"Yeah! That's more like it!" Clenching his fists by his sides, the brunet let out a cheer of encouragement. "You'll be the best ever! Just you wait! I bet that one day, even Riku won't be able to catch you-- And that's saying something!"

“Yeah I know, Sora.  Don’t worry about me.” He grinned and put his hands on his hips.  ”Pretty soon I’ll have a breakthrough and then nobody will be able to catch me!”

"It's sorta true, though! You know that!" Giving a stomp of his foot, Sora quickly defended himself. "She's not been everywhere like we have-- or had nearly as much experience! We've gotta look out for her while she toughens up, dummy!"

Riku snorted. “Don’t let her catch you saying that. She’d smack you over the head with her keyblade or something.” His tone was still teasing, but he was pretty sure that Kairi would indeed do something like that if she’d heard Sora’s comment. She could be pretty scary when she was mad.
