she  seeks  her  long  after. the  night  is  well  into  it’s  hours.  her  match  yet  to  happen  but  naomi’s  long  done.  she  doesn’t  know  what  to  say,  or  if  she  should  say  anything  at  all.  words  caught  in  her  throat.  anything  she  says,  she  thinks,  will  sound  less  sincere  than  it  is.  her  plan  to  alienate  herself  from  the  girls  working  far  to  well.  more  frowns  and  glares  greeting  her,  far  from  the  smiles  and  hugs  she’d  grown  used  to.

        naomi’s shoulders tense for a moment upon hearing becky’s voice. for a long while now , it’s felt like they had been playing some kind of game - except becky knew all the rules and naomi simply had to fend for herself. she understood anger , understood feeling overshadowed and overlooked ... she just didn’t understand why she had to suffer like the rest. perhaps it was naive to think , but naomi had at least thought she was special. but so was the way with championships ; this lesson she had to learn time and time again.

        she finally turns , hands busy rolling up the remains of the long robe she wore , and taking a bit of time to gauge out what becky’s true intentions were. naomi , though , could not help the way her eyes softened the moment she did meet the other’s though. “ ... i’ll get other opportunities , it was someone from raw who won. it’s still free game. ” then a shrug followed. “ assuming you keep it tonight. which i’m sure you will. “ she didn’t accidentally let that last part slip , didn’t mean it in any malicious way either. despite it all , she was still rooting for becky.
