Overtaking Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez to spend 27 consecutive weeks atop Billboard’s “Social 50” chart, which tracks popularity across different platforms, would be an impressive feat for any artist. It’s especially so for BTS, a Korean boy band — the full name, Bangtan Sonyeondan, loosely translates to “bulletproof boy scouts” in English — whose seven members have managed to cultivate a virtual fanbase that could give the Beyhive a run for its money. In 2016, the so-called BTS Army propelled Wings to No. 26 on the Billboard 200 — the highest-ever debut for a K-pop album — and earlier this year, they helped BTS win Top Social Artist at the Billboard Music Awards. During their acceptance speech, band member Rap Monster (real name: Kim Nam-joon) gave credit where credit was due: “This award belongs to [everybody] around the world who shines the love and light on us,” he said. —Raisa Bruner

There is a design parallel between the Mario Bros. and the princesses traditionally paired up with them. The number of eyelashes on Princess Peach’s eyes - six - matches the number of curved segments in Mario’s mustache. Likewise, Princess Daisy has two eyelashes on each eye, which matches Luigi’s two-segment mustache. Whether this is a coincidence or a deliberate design choice is unknown.

Agust D 믹스테잎의 마지막곡 so far away를 멤버들과 함께 하여 기분이 색다르네요.

오히려 이 버젼의 분위기가 원래 의도 했던 곡 스타일에 더 가까운 것 같습니다.

마지막까지 수정에 수정에 수정에 수정을 거듭하면서 믹스테잎을 완성시키고 공개를 했는데, 가사 검수를 정확하게 하지 못한 것을 발매되고 한참 뒤에 알게되었습니다. don’t fall away 라는 가사가 don’t far away 로 표기 되어 있었다는 걸요…이미 발표는 했고 수정하기엔 늦었고 뭐 어쩌겠습니까 하하하 그때 첫 믹스테잎이라 정신도 없고 하하 이 버젼에는 틀린 가사가 아닌 원 가사가 표기되어 있습니다. 이렇게 기회가 생겨 원 가사를 알려드릴 수 있어 다행이네용 즐겁게 즐겨주세요 :)

4주년 페스타도 끝이 났네요 5주년 페스타 때 다시 찾아 뵙겠습니다.

The feeling of doing so far away, the last song of the Agust D mixtape, with the members is quite different.

If anything, the mood of this version is closer to the style that I planned for the song.

Until the end, I repeated revision after revision after revision after revision to complete and release the mixtape, but I didn’t realize until a while after the mixtape was released that I didn’t completely check over the lyrics (for this song). The lyrics “don’t fall away” became written as “don’t far away”…I already released (the mixtape) and it was to late to revise, so well what could I do? hahaha. At that time, it was my first mixtape, so it was a bit chaotic, haha. In this version, rather than the wrong lyrics, it was written with original lyrics. It’s a relief that I was able to let you guys know of the original lyrics through this kind of opportunity. Please enjoyably enjoy (this song) :)

The 4th year anniversary festa has ended as well. I’ll come to find you all again during the 5th year anniversary festa.

okay but jungkook saying that fire is the most meaningful song to him bc he wants to live freely bc right now he feels trapped in how much he gets inside his own head and then saying ease by troye sivan is his favorite song which is a song about feeling lonely and afraid of fame (life in the public eye) and how isolating that experience is and then also feeling like you have to hide those feelings ….i hope he’s okay

A star created 1,800 years ago after the collision of two distant suns is set to appear in the night sky for the first time – as the light from the crash finally reaches the Earth. 

Scientists predict that for six months in 2022, stargazers will be able to witness the birth of the new star, by fixing their telescopes near the Pisces and Cygnus constellations. Dubbed the Boom Star, it has taken nearly two millennia for its light to reach earth — where it will be able to be seen by the naked eye. Astronomers expect the collision to increase the brightness of the pair ten thousand fold, making it one of the brightest stars in the heaven for a time. The explosion, known as a Red Nova, will then dissipate and the star will remain visible in our skies as a single bright, but duller, dot.
