Grow your hair long

In a year I’ve managed to grow my hair 12 inches. My hair has always given me problems with growth. When I was little I had a bowl cut for like 4 years straight, and it wasn’t because my mom cut it that way it just wouldn’t ever grow. I ditched the extensions last year and my hair has grown like crazy. I’m very consistent with my vitamins, I take fish oil and prenatal vitamins every morning. My hair and skin have changed drastically! I’ve come to the conclusion that I won’t be putting heat on my hair for a year. It’s been 2 months. So far it hasn’t been as hard as I thought it’d be. My hair is naturally wavy and I’ve been getting my curl pattern back, thankfully! In the bowl I feel like the more natural the better and I think more girls need to embrace being natural. These men love it I swear

Tips to grow your hair:

•Drink lots of water

•Take vitamins!

•Dont apply heat (let your hair air dry)

•No tight pony tails or updo’s

•Despite popular belief you don’t need a trim every 6 weeks. I get my hair cut twice a year and that’s it!

•Look into rice water rinse it’s amazing! I also use rice water as a skin toner for my face

•Pure aloe Vera leaf extract is amazing for dry dull hair. You can get it at any local organic grocery store for super cheap!

•Your hair is like your skin, it needs to stay moisturized. I put a little bit of coconut oil in the ends to keep it hydrated.

•Keep it out of the sun, it’ll dry out! Wear hats

•Never brush it when it’s wet. Brush it before you get in the shower!

•I braid my hair every night before I go to sleep. If not it tends to break because the friction with your pillow.

•Treat your hair like silk! Stay patient, you’ll definitely see results

do you personally ever tell your trusted sds your real name ? tips on keeping them convinced of your sugar name ? (also, thank you for being so positive and kind !! i admire it 💛)

In the beginning I was very hesitant. I watch a lot of crime scene investigation shows lol so I was really careful not to tell my real name. After a while, (with a good SD) you bond with them. I have told my real name to the people I know I can trust. That takes time though, what I’ve learned is you can’t trust anyone in this industry so easily.

I’d never tell my:

• Social Security #

• Last Name (makes you less trackable)

• Bank Info (I know some will argue. But I don’t do it)

• Any family names (I create fake names) or addresses

• Not too much personal life info. There are certain things that should be kept to yourself. I’m kind of vague when it comes to my life. I keep the topic on him! They truly don’t want to be our counselors

Things to Keep in Mind

1. Your grades are not a measure of your value and worth.

2. A low or failing grade doesn’t make you worthless.

3. You are valuable because you are you.

4. You don’t have to prove anything to anybody.

5. You are unique, special, and have lots to give and offer.

6. You have people in your life who love and care for you.

7. When one door closes another always opens.
