all this talk about the "issue" of trans people in sports and yet I've not seen anyone suggesting the obvious solution of just banning cis people from sports

t4t isnt just for nblm/mlm. all trans people of all orientations are included in t4t, and deserve to be welcomed into and represented within the t4t community. t4t is wlw, nblnb, mlw, xlx... there's no limit. you're included as long as you're a trans person specifically wanting to date other trans people.

transfems specifically should not be made to feel like they don't belong in the t4t community, especially since so many transfems get told their attraction to others is predatory on account of their transness. t4t is supposed to be a safe haven from these toxic and exclusionary ideas around trans love and sexuality and platonic relationships.

do better. uplift the voices of non trans men/man-aligned people in the t4t community. you can't preach about the safety and freedom in t4t if you're only making it out to belong to one type of trans person.

yes i’m t4t bc i hate cis people but i’m also t4t because the way that i am and the way that i love is only compatible with another trans person. i love them bc i trust them with my body, i trust they can hold me without breaking me, i trust they will appreciate every ounce of my existence as much as i do theirs, i trust the way they look at me and knowing they will never see me as anything but who i am. trans love is beautiful and radical and special and deserves to be cherished, and it is not simply born out of a disdain or uncomfortability around cis people. it’s born out of true, real passion that only we can share for each other.

“Being trans masc is wanting long hair but knowing you’ll get misgendered daily” at a certain point it doesn’t matter. People will misgender you, on accident or on purpose, pretty much all the time. I get called ma’am in person when i have a beard just right there in plain sight.

But at a certain time in your transition, you’re sitting at ihop and you have a full beard and you’re with your friends, and the waiter stumbles and says “she ordered the pancakes right?” It is going to be so comical. It will be so hilarious to you, the idea of your long hair being so feminine that it overrides your beard, your voice, etc. If you want to have long hair, just do it. If you’re already going to be misgendered every day, why not grow your hair like you want to.
