THE ETERNAL NIGHT

              The Eternal Night is a catastrophic and terrifying frame of time after the second war. Prince Faylin the sun, was kidnapped at the end of the war by Peter Pan, therefore robbing the whole kingdom and nature of the light of the sun and a long painful and terrifying night had fallen upon everything and everyone. The light of the sun is an essential component for the flow of life itself, the balance that is needed for life to grow adequately, and with the light of the sun now gone, everything was thrown out of order. The nature reacted in an instant, becoming colder and with less color, with less life, and many plants even dying. The faes were greatly affected as well, especially the seasons. Spring became weaker, and could not manage to stop all the plants from dying even if she tried, she was more tired and weak. Summer grew colder than usual and weaker as well. W(y)inter had fallen into a terrifying state, painfully and agonizing pain as he ( along with his family ) turned into a statue of pure ice. Autumn had also grown weaker and fallen into a deep deep slumber, all the while he was turning completely into roots. Every common fae was cold, weak, tired and in pain.

                During this time, the only light to shine hope and keep faes from not permanently dying was the light of the moon. Dwyn the moon, was the one to cast his light over everything the whole time without a break. His light was the life and the guidance of this period of time. He was shining and being the light to sustain the fragile life struggling to have some kind of flow. His powers were strained beyond exhaustion, as he sat between the painful sight of ice statues of his own family members. Nobody really knows how much this painful period of time had lasted, as day and night became the same dark skies that never changed, and so nobody knew if a day passed, if it was supposed to be day or night. Time felt like it was not real that moment and they were only waiting, waiting for the sun to come back and for the balance to be back to normal.

                     Balance is something that should not be messed with or else, the consequences are devastating for everyone and that dark time was the prime example of what happens when the balance is broken. There can't be only moon or only sun, there needs to be both in order for life to exist, if one disappears then everything turns to chaos. If one is not, the life can't go on.

            The moon that shone during that time is referred as The Mourning Moon. The moon that takes over the Sun's spot in the sky lamenting and waiting for it to come back to it's place, providing his light until the Sun's light will shine again. There is a rumor of mouth that during the longest night of winter, one shall make a significant blood sacrifice to the full moon, in order for us to give back the painful tears of blood that moon had shed the whole eternal night.

RAYMUN. The advisor of the unseelie royal family. All his life being nothing more but a weak fae. He was not noble, he does not have terrifying or renowned power, however, he has his mind. Where this fae lacks in physical power, he makes up for it with the skills of his intellect and mind. Intuition, wit, cunning, all skills that kept him alive between all the powerful monsters. Skills that made him OUTSMART and beat those same beasts at their own game. Someone so unremarkable and weak like that would've been dead by now, yet no matter the opponent, no matter how much power they had over him, Raymun would always end up victorious, using their own power against them. The king himself took notice of that mind and skill, and granted the fae a place right beside him. And so after proving himself quite the asset, after surviving a near-death experience solely with his strategic skills and no real power, Rhys entrusts him the role of his and his family's main advisor. He bestows Raymun with a new eye to fill in the empty space left after the bloody experience he had survived. No ordinary eye of course, but one embedded with a part of Rhys' own power. Aside from using the power of it as one usually would, the eye is also a tool to keep the king's children in check, after all, keeping everything in check is an advisor's duty. A winter fae, he wields the element of ice and is part of the winter court.

another terrifying yet more subtle and less bloody way Moony can kill you: he can freeze all the water in your body from the inside out. Altho that would only work of course on mostly humans as they are 70% water ( or however much ) but on a creature that has it's body made up of anything else like pure magic and stuff then is nothing. So yeah, if water is a central part on your biology. You should be teriffied, because that is a HORRIFYING way to die. But HEY at least your body stays concealed in its initial form. So you can be a statue somewhere.

moony just so feed up with all these weirdos popping up, the place is getting very CROWDED.

KAI. A water fae and fierce knight of the seelie kingdom. Drowned by his parents at birth, the child was just too stubborn to die and that would soon become his legacy. He was found and raised by 3 water nymphs by a river deep within the forest. A lad that always wears his bloodthirst on his sleeves, always itching for a battle, always craving that exciting thrill of the battle and no matter how hard and how close he is to death, he always seems to bounce back up. He is crazy, he is reckless, always following his instinct and desire for battle. He is obsessive with people that catch his interest. He is a hard worker never shying away from any.. He later on is found by the seelie queen herself and after a battle with her, he is taken in as a knight, for she sees a great warrior meant to fight for this kingdom. And she was right. He serves as a knight ever since, placing all his undying loyalty and life for the queen and the kingdom, but most importantly for his beloved prince and mate Faylin.

the moon court and spring court faes have special eyes.

The moon court faes have pupils in the shape of a specific moon phase that suits their core/personality the best, which is often the phase of the moon that they were born under. Since most of the moon court is composed of other faes from the winder and autumn court, most of them gain that pupil once they settle in the court.

The spring court faes have pupils that are shaped like flowers, they have a normal dot pupil part and the 5 or 6 petals around it and the whole thing is their pupil. There is no deeper correlation for it, they are just born like that.

as other courts have symbolic animals and creatures that are specific to that court/season, the moon court is the home of all night creatures, some are shared closely with the winter court and some are specific for the moon such as owls, bats, and one that is a sacred spirit animal of the court, the wolf. Dwyn breathes all the life into the ocean, creating all the sea life from the little fish to dolphins, octopuses, whales etc etc. And created by the moon are also such known beings known as the mare folk or mermaids as well as other more terrifying sea creatures that live at the very bottom of the seafloor.

THE MOON COURT ruled by the personification of the moon and unseelie, Dwyn, coming to birth from the season personification of winter. the court is about mystery, the circle of life and constant change, it is about constant movement and flow: the water, time itself and life are all a constant changing thing, unexpected and containing a lot of mysteries. the court pertains to ones longing for a deeper connection with the overall flow, changes and the inner self.

faes of this court are a combination of both winter and autumn faes, any fae that feels a restless change within them, like they don't belong where they are, is usually the kind o fae that is led into the moon court. The faes of this court nurture a deep connection with their core, striving to better understand themselves and follow the lead of change confidently, for they know their bond towards the moon is the only true thing that was always real and always there.

These faes are skillful in hiding, manipulating and making use of the shadows. There are various different type of personalities as they come from different previous courts which you'd think it would be a mess but despite all that, as they are together they all are in harmony even without knowing each other because all their bonds are deep within each other.

the court is floating somewhere above the sea, hidden behind clouds during the day and shining bright during the night. If you were to walk in during the day inside the court you'd notice that the place is still in nighttime, or a rather lighter night than a normal one, then when the sun sets outside of the court then it gets much darker than a normal night. Because of the serene silent nature, the court also seems eerily empty if you just walk in, however if you look closely, the faes are everywhere within the shadows and the moonlight.

the faes of this court are close to the elements of water and snow that are the main ones of the beloved moon.

Dwyn himself has an unpredictable behavior that changes every time, his moods are always in constant change and yet he is always will be found and will find the ones that call him and his light. He is quiet spoiled and his mood swings can go as far as murder a lot of times, however aside from casual dislike, all the faes within his court still respect and love him and would never wish to break their connection with him. He too treasures his court despite the mood swings and always baths them in his soothing light, offering them dedicated protection and power. The bond between them and dwin is very much a mirror image of the one that the sun court has, of undying and unconditional loyalty.

there are no humans residing within the court itself but there are several humans with their souls deeply connected to the moon. The humans seeking the moon are usualy the type of the outcast and the lonely, the one that has never felt like they belong somewhere, and they too receive a part of Dwyn's light to guide them and make them feel less alone.

ARTE. who are we in the face of the noble arts that embedded the life ever since the beginning. An unseelie of the winter court, and the self proclaimed representation of all arts, he who claims he needs not for a name for he IS ART he is Arte. He is a well known legend of arts, serving performances for each generation of the Oberon family and the whole kingdom. He is an old one that is quiet good friends with Winter and Autumn, good old comrades as he likes to regard. As he proclaims to be art himself, he doesn't see himself as a person, but a concept, there is not one time that he ever knew who he really is. But he doesn't need to know, he will just be art.
