Augustine? She makes a face that clearly shows she doesn’t know who or what he is talking about. With still being new to America, she is struggling to keep up on all the current events. Wanda was slowly adjusting, though. Even her accent was changing. What ever happened with this ‘Augustine’ must have happened during her time with HYDRA.

“So there is more of you? Did that Augustine give you powers?” Wanda has no idea why she’s asking all these questions. It’s simply odd seeing someone use their powers so freely, not worrying about consequences.

He looks back at the girl, embers still curling around his fingertips. Is she a Conduit as well? The way she spoke sounded like she understood what it was like, and yet she clearly wasn’t aware of who he was.

      “It’s alright, people aren’t really scared of me, of us, anymore. At least not since Augustine got dethroned.”

She thinks for a second, just one second, that maybe he is also a successful HYDRA experiment. However, she knows that to be untrue. It was only her and her brother. The ‘miracles’. If there was another ‘miracle’, she surely would have known about them.

am i still the only one that realized that sucker punch fucked up fetch’s timeline? in second son she says she was locked up for seven years BUT i believe it was reggie who said that brent died 2 years prior to the events in second son.

i hate it break it to you all, but i think fetch when she was talking about being separated for 7 years was actually mostly referencing to the people in curdun cay who were actually there for 7 years. also in first light, the flashbacks are from 2 years ago and there isn’t much time between her killing shane and then being put on the bus where hank makes his escape.

so it’s likely that fetch was actually 20-21 in first light.

sucker punch did in fact fuck up fetch’s timeline, but i think they meant for brent to have died 2 years prior to second son, not 7 years.

        she isn’t wearing the DUP uniform, that’s a GOOD sign. she’s not a concrete wielder, either, but that just means she isn’t one of augustine’s second hand soldiers. concrete queen had trained fetch to kill, who’s to say she didn’t train others? fetch doesn’t recognize the woman’s face. seven years in curdun cay, if the brunette had been there, fetch was sure she would’ve seen her at least once.

her heart is RACING & she knows that if this escalates even more, she won’t be able to control her power. internally she tells herself to take deep breaths, but she doesn’t actually do it. if anything, her breathing becomes even shorter than it was before. this girl is SERIOUSLY off her rocker if she truly thinks thalia is with the d.u.p.

        “jeez, okay! my name is thalia & i’m from portland. i-i’ve been on the run from the          d.u.p. since i was just a kid! i’d never work with them. i’m a-afraid of them just like          YOU are.”

she can only hope this will convince her. no, thalia would never work with the d.u.p. she’d DIE before she’d go to them.
