Tips for a Power Angel

Make, print, or purchase weapons - learn how to use them as well if you choose to get real ones and one fake weapons.

Play sandbox games, such as Universe Sandbox or Messiah that put you at a power perspective above leading forces.

Do your best to act as a moral or justice force in your daily life.

Read and analyze scriptures from your biblical version of choice.

just realized that here, I've never explained how I found I was an angel, and more specifically, a power (no one has to, really, but I love explaining things) under cut

at first, I identified as a moth therian, which would explain peculiar things I did as a smallchild (most notably "drawing" wings for myself in the air, which occasionally gave myself envisage shifts; and being absolutely obsessed with moths and butterflies), Though it didn't explain everything!

I've always had theophobia, terrible, terrible. My own sense of justice, always an oddball. Never understood being fully human. Always liked magic. Still do.

I tried to find other terms for what box I fit into (no one always needs a box, but I wanted to:3) I found the term on Reddit (of which I do not have an account, teehee!), under someone's "kins I don't believe in", and one of those was angelkin. I didn't care for the post, but the term spoke to me.

I looked it up and found the wiki article. I looked through it. That's me! That's me! I read through it all. The powers spoke to me. I love history. I love my friends, I'd do anything for them. I fought a demon for them. When I am angry, it is a huge, raging, anger. It is an absolute adrenaline, filling my human veins with nonhuman emotions. My soul burns beautifully! As a human I am weak, but my words are my spear.

Around seven months ago I started quadrobics to allow myself movemental freedom. I am comfortable in my form but not the best.

I have a mask. It's not a cat mask nor does it reflect my angelic form... but it looks pretty:)

My first shifts were mental. I have no memories of heaven. I've experienced envisage shifts, mental shifts, and today I had my first physical shift. Haha my wings are sore through my pillow. I had my first envisage shift in orchestra class.

I am my own angel. You are your own. We are all different, with different stories and different loves. We are angels ❤️

while I can understand Anon's feelings (I myself dislike how I'm not very religious but have a role in the Christian hierarchy), I agree with Monday that there are more than just Christian or Abrahamic angels, and that it's quite close-minded to get upset at others for being their own angels.

I understand that anon may not be comfortable with other religions, but it's simply not fair to others of those religions to be percieved wrongly because that's what makes you comfortable.

There are angels from other religions, there are angels from no religion, there are humanoid Angels, there are unholy angels, and more!!

Even then, Christian Angels take many forms! We all have one thing in common, and it's that we're angels, and we should all be able to keep that ♥️

I'm a religious otherkin having difficulty sorting my feelings out about angelkin. I feel like beings should identify however they feel best, but I can't help but feel frustrated sometimes because so many portrayals just...aren't angels. Idk it just seems wrong bordering disrespectful sometimes. I'm scared to post about this because the otherkin community seems really hostile towards Christians and I don't even fully know how I feel about it myself. Idk just putting this out there I guess, if any angelkin could weigh in with their experiences please do because I really do want to understand! Please help me figure these feelings out!

I like to see dragonkin on my feed as well! Y'all are always so... majestic. Heads held high horns (if the dragon has horns) strong and I can tell that each of you is wonderful and unique, each differing color so beautiful. Rustling fur, glistening scales... it's so beautiful to see!

Attention all celestial beings, deities, demons, and other ethereal entities inhabiting mortal meat suits:

We know it’s a bit of a drag dealing with these squishy, high-maintenance vessels. Eating? Sleeping? Showering? Yes, it’s all very mortal and inconvenient. But hey, this is your ride, and no one likes a broken-down car. Show some respect to your vessel—it’s literally carrying you around the mortal plane.

Here’s your “Vessel Maintenance Checklist”:

Fuel it properly! Eat some actual food—yes pizza rolls count but throw in a vegetable or two occasionally.

Hydrate. Your body right now is mostly made up of water. You need to replenish your reserves once in a while.

Sleep! At least 6-9 hours. Powering through is not a long-term solution, my friend.

Showering and grooming. A clean vessel is a happy vessel. Your mortal friends will thank you.

Stretch and move. A little walk won’t kill you!

Remember: Treat your vessel with kindness, or it can start feeling bad. You’ve been warned.
