What's your favorite B-12 memory?

Personally, I absolutely ADORE all of them and it's really difficult to choose just one, buuut I'll have to go with the one in Dead End.

It's rather short, bittersweet, but at the same time the one that gives us the most insight into the scientist and, in retrospect, B-12.

A vague idea of the kind of person he was, his dreams, his hopes, and his desire for a peaceful life. Something so simple, yet so unattainable.

He knew it was impossible, but he kept dreaming..

Ughh I'm getting teary-eyed thinking about him again, so I'll stop here.

That's my favorite memory, for all the reasons you said! We learn so much about B-12 right there, even if neither of us know it yet. It's really special.

I'm not sure what my favorite memory was the first time I played, if I even had one. I'm convinced I played the game blindfolded—I missed so much. If I have to mention another memory, I think the one near the end of the Sewers level is neat. I actually like how Stray doesn't give you all the answers; B-12 is just as bewildered about the Sewers as we are. I also can't get over how B-12, not knowing he's human, felt the need to use a robot metaphor. Brother half the Companions don't even use those.

B-12's concluding memory lines are perfect examples of how dialogue doesn't have to be eloquent to be impactful. "They're good robots." "These are certainly desperate times." "What a horrible thing to do. Maybe that's why they failed." They're so simple, but they cut deep! So cool.

11. Which poet do you like more: Alexander or Bonobot?

I'd choose Alexander. I think both of them have room for improvement (aksjfjf), but I like Alexander's poem more. Bonobot's isn't bad, just not my style.

Bonobot reminds me of a middle schooler who thinks not caring about anything makes them cool. The, "But not me," and "And too heavy for me," lines are so.. Okay Bo. (Affectionate) On the flip side, I think Alexander might have a little flair for the dramatic. I like that they both spent time with Clementine. :)

18. Favorite cutscene

The Doc & Seamus reunion is by far my favorite. There's so many details that went into that scene—I've watched it too many times.

Meeting B-12 is a close second! The way he struggles to fly at first.. And the cat immediately slapping him like a true cat would. It's perfect.

Hehe, B-12's up there! You've definitely helped me see just how amazing he is. :] We need to yap about him sometime. <- Very serious

As for my favorite.. I'm so bad at picking favorites, but I gotta be honest with you. It's Seamus.

I don't know when it happened. I didn't feel especially close to him the first time I played, but I wanted to give him a place in my prequel project that I started over a year ago. So, I started giving him more of my attention, and then a day came where I looked at all my Stray fic drafts and, to my horror, Seamus was in all of them.

I think he's so interesting to me because of how uniquely tragic and almost downplayed his story is. Out of all the characters in the game, Seamus is the only one who was just..there. He didn't do anything to put himself in his position, he just happened to be there.

I believe he'd have a unique perspective on the Outsiders, the Outside, the Slums—everything. It deserves to be explored. This game wasn't about him but I'll give him his own show. #MySeamus

Zbaltazar and Clementine also have a special place in my heart, individually and together.

They make me so sick your honor.

Finally made a rough ref sheet for my own B-12 Companion design! And bonus goofy doodles! There may or may not be a long fic in progress that will be coming in approximately 2 thousand years time... ALSO STRAY ANNIVERSARY! It has been three years since we were graced with the presence of this game and I want to shout out the lovely Stray fandom for their art, cosplays, writings, and B-12 is alive conspiracy theories! 3. Favorite chapter

The Slums - Part 2 and Dead End are very special to me. I'm a huge Doc & Seamus fan, and their story is so.. Ugh. The chapters do a fantastic job showing just how human the Companions are. It poses so many questions: Can robots have deep connections? Can they care for each other? Can they feel? Can they grieve? Can they forgive? And the answer is yes!!

B-12 questions if Doc & Seamus' relationship could be the same as a human's with the knight/mannequin memory in the Dead End, and after they're reunited, he states that he sees that they're happy and that we did a great thing together. B-12 was convinced! Their relationship is just as real and true as any human relationship could be. The Companions no longer simply mimic us, they became us. They are worth saving because we are worth saving. It's so soft.

I'm hoping to touch on this more in my Totally Real Doc Analysis That I'm Definitely Working On. So. Keep an eye out for that.
