Like not to sound preachy or whatever but food is more than just sustenance and fuel, it's an outlet for pleasure and joy. Whether you're eating with loved ones or alone food is meant to make you feel good and if you don't get pleasure and joy from it then something is wrong and it needs to be fixed. To say that you can't enjoy food or even that you can't enjoy some food because it's 'bad' is so backwards and ridiculous that I'm shocked that it's so deeply entranched in our culture. Food isn't inherently bad, or inherently good, it's a way to enjoy life and fuck diet culture for fucking all of us up so badly that we lost sight of that.
