body bounces against the outstretched arm, it's presence going unnoticed until the collision. converse shifts on the ground and she turns to face the other, brows arching with confusion.ㅤ"ㅤhear what?ㅤ"ㅤellie hadn't heard anything, but maybe that was more to do with who she is following than awareness of surroundings. eyes glance down at her lips before darting in another direction. smooth, williams. automatically mirroring dina, ellie stands and brushes the dirt from aged jeans.ㅤ"ㅤyou're gonna be the death of me, man.ㅤ"

noting the keys in hand, ellie can't help but smirk.ㅤ"ㅤwhere the hell did you get those?ㅤ"ㅤshe comes to rest at the wall, shoulder leaning against brick as she watches the taller woman.ㅤ"ㅤyou gonna tell me what we're doing at the centre? as fun as this whole secret service shit is,ㅤ"ㅤshe chuckles,ㅤ"ㅤi feel like i should know what i'm being an accomplice in.ㅤ"

“  did  you  hear  that?  ”   she�� whispers,  freezing  in  place  as  she  tries  to  listen  for  the  sound  to  repeat  itself.  arm  outstretched  to  stop  ellie  from  continuing  beside  her  as  they  both  remain  crouched  along  the  side  of  the  building.  dina's  gaze  flicks  to  to  the  other  as  she  withdraws  her  hand  to  put  her  finger  at  her  lips  to  ensure  they're  both  quiet  before  she  dares  to  take  a  few  more  steps  forward  to  glance  around  the  edge.  dark  eyes  glance  around  for  a  few  seconds  before  jumping  right  to  her  feet  and  turning  slightly  to  ellie.  “ i  think  everyone  left  for  the  night,  we  should  be  good  to  go, ”   she  says  at  a  more  normal  volume  before  stepping  around  the  building.

she  all  but  skips  towards  the  door,  already  pulling  the  keys  from  her  pockets  before  hopping  up  the  steps  to  the  back  entrance  of  the  community  center.  maybe  they  were  being  a  little  dramatic  about  sneaking  around  jackson,  but  ...  they  could  get  in  some  trouble  for  what  they  were  about  to  do.  which  lead  them  to  this  plan,  which  dina  had  to  admit,  was  going  perfectly,  as  expected.  after  all,  it  was  her  idea.  |  @endur4nce       ♡

in terms of the tlou show, i don't mind writing within that canon, i just won't be using ellie's show actor as ellie has always been cailee for me & i'm not willing to part from that.

i apologise in advance for how slow i am when it comes to writing, i'm 2 months into living with my bf & i'm still trying to gain the ability to find a writing routine in a new environment. that said, he knows i write on tumblr & is fine with it, but the brain still needs to find comfort there. i'm still in the please don't perceive me stage.
