this is my last 30 days in hatay. i deeply regret that i didn't bLoG or journal regularly here. but i decided to record these last days as detailly as i can. feelings thoughts memories photos goals sounds routines dreams foods friends everything

a fresh start

had an awesome dinner party last night – great wine, food, and friends. it was exceptional! not only did I not feel overwhelmed, but I genuinely enjoyed the company of 20 people. perihan abla made yaprak sarmasi just for me. it felt like a christmas dinner at your grandma's in 2005 🌟

this phase of my life will soon be (sort of) over, and I'll want to remember these feelings. cant believe how much i grew and changed over the last 2-3 years. especially for the last couple of months. some days, the weight of things gets to me, especially work related stuff. i try to be grateful for all my recent well-made mistakes. not easy for a control freak like me, but i try to learn. i've also experienced truly special moments with amazing people. today i met with a group of incredibly strong and powerful women, for example. i admired their ability to find laughter in situations and the way they care for their families. during the meeting, this woman was sharing one of the most dramatic life stories you may ever hear when another woman interrupted, asking, "are you a pisces?" everyone burst into laughter
