With the deadline for the PIT being today, my groupmates and I did our best to polish and finalize our papers as well as recheck that our system is functioning well.
We finished our exam for the day (it's finals week) and gathered together in the main library to finish everything all in all. We ate lunch right after for preparation and waited for some time for the Senior High School event to finish up since our instructor is one of the judges in it.
When the time came, we all transferred venues for our PIT presentation from the CEA Building to the LRC Building— which is also where the Main Library was.
Being second to present, our instructor pointed out a few things that needed revising, which we instantly got to work on in order to finish it within the day. We had to add a few pictures as well a statements before allowing ourselves to have it checked again.
After one more time of revising, we finally finished our papers and the brochure perfectly, with our instructor guaranteeing both our system and our papers a booming 100%.
My groupmates and I congratulated each other for our performance and success before returning home for a well-earned rest.

Although today is our Quiz 2 for the finals, it also marks the last day for the subject as we already tackled all the lessons needed.
Me and my groupmates had a consultation with our instructor beforehand, leading us to another revision which we also had consultation for today after the quiz.

The quiz took a couple of hours. Those couple of hours consisted of us attempting to remember the lessons and calculate the right answers as well as graphing it correctly.
After it all, we took a picture together with out instructor before having our revised documents checked. A few other groups also stayed behind to have their own documents checked as well.
Other than a few changes in the code as well as adding the results and the conclusion for the papers, our revision was accepted well. The brochure only needed to be printed to ensure clarity, but other than that, we were set for our presentation for next week.
This journey has been quite long and admittedly, stressing. All subjects are, to be honest. But our class persevered and with the aid of our supportive instructor, I'm sure we'll all make it through.

The creation of the brochure was quite a confusing task for me, as I was not sure what the contents should be.
None of my classmates or the students from the other section with the same instructor had managed to start with it yet, so I created it with a blind eye and with just my intuition.
The rest of my groupmates had their own jobs to do such as finalizing the testing and the user manual. They also encouraged me to have our progress consulted by our instructor within the next week.
I'm sure it will still need revisions, but that's exactly what progress is for.
Topics three and four was also released in the school website, which I read and took notes of for the next quiz. It was a good break from the continuous brochure-making tangent I placed myself in.

You guessed it.
Today marks the day for our very first quiz for the finals. Am I ready for it? Well, so-so. I managed to review the day before, but I've never been one more memorization. I can easily familiarize terms, but to remember them word for word in case of identification and enumerations? Not my strong suit.

Once again a lot of my classmates reviewed on their phones in order to maximize the stock knowledge they have and increase their chances of passing. I am the same, but with the quiz on a subject beforehand, I can barely fit anything else in my head.
After the quiz ended, our instructor reminded us of our Performance Innovative Task for the finals and how within the next couple of weeks it would be time for the checking.
This caused my groupmates to want to have our progress checked by him, but ultimately decided on doing it within the next week, where we are sure it's at the very least polished.
The class didn't end there. Our instructor began another lesson which was about data mining. Due to my sore throat, I had to buy medicine outside in another building which caused me to miss a seatwork and a group activity.
However, my instructor who is extremely kind, gave me the opportunity to take both next week during our time. It eased my worries, and I apologized for missing it before returning home after class ended.

For this week, we had an asynchronous class where we get to self-study a new lesson as well as answer a group activity due by Monday.
We all communicated with our groups and answered the activity. We assigned who will answer which part in order to keep each member engaged, and someone also volunteered to have it printed out and submitted at the date of the deadline.
Other than other subjects and the submission of circuits in one of my subjects, we only got to self-study and finish as group activity with our teammates.

Back to school after a couple of weeks without meeting personally!
We all remained at the 7th floor 30 minutes early due to the fact that we had a quiz in the same classroom beforehand. We all decided to stay and wait for the our instructor to arrive and our class to start, which didn't take too long considering time passed by fast.

We had a new lesson for the day. Some listened, some conversed quietly by themselves, while some just used their phones. But they couldn't enjoy their personal time too long since our instructor is incredibly active.
He kept an eye on everyone. Glancing and making sure everyone was involved in the lecture. The lesson wasn't difficult to understand, the terminologies are the only ones hard for me to remember.
By the end, everyone listened well and we had a group activity. However, our instructor decided to send us off early and have us submit the activity early morning the next day. We all gave him our gratitude and left, having quite a long day behind us.

For today, we proceeded to have asynchronous classes. The first topic for the finals is provided in the school website. After reading the lesson, I spent some time to recuperate. Instead of wasting time, my groupmates and I collaborated and settled with our roles for the creation of the user manual.
I volunteered to be the one to created the brochure, while my other groupmates volunteered to create the step-by-step user manual themselves. We agreed to have it done by next week, as we also still need to finish our testing for the performance of the website.
The software is undergoing its updates with the help of our developer, while the papers are being handled by the rest of us. The black box and white box testing is not difficult to create, but quite tedious due to its long process and careful testing. Every single one of the boxes and action should have a corresponding proof.
So far, the progress is ongoing and we all have deadlines to pursue. We wish for the best!

Today is All Souls Day, and so the school declared no classes. I had spent my time visiting the cemetery with my parents to visit the dead and give some respect as well as prayers. My grandmother's birthday isn't too far away, so my mother also added that to her prayers.
I didn't too anything school-related for the day, mostly to take a break from the continuous productivity with the finals only being a few weeks away. My groupmates and I are planning to proceed with the next steps for the papers within the next week, so that's one thing.
I look forward to the next few weeks!

Today is our PIT presentation. Unfortunately, I couldn't take any pictures due to it occurring quite fast.
The day went by me and my groupmates in another subject passing our PITs during the afternoon. By two o'clock, I spent the time at the library, reviewing and finishing our papers for the midterm. As for my groupmates, they're reviewing the website and its funcitionality.
When 6 o'clock came, everyone was already at the 7th floor. There were students from other sections who wanted to submit their PITs as well. When the presentation started, all groups with the exception of those who will be presenting first will stay outside and prepare their websites/application for smooth checking.
My group ended up presenting 4th or 5th, with the front end receiving 100% and the back end receiving 97%. There are a few improvements needed, as our instructor suggested, but he did congratulate us in our achievement.
We ended up returning home early with joy in our hearts and satisfaction in our minds. We look forward to improving our system as well as learning more for the finals.

The week of exams ends today, only for CEA that is. The other courses still have exams through the next few days so there are some rooms that are unavailable. There was no classes for all my scheduled subjects that day, so time was spent in the comforts of my own home, resting from the exhausting past few exam days.
The following week will be the presentation of multiple PITs, which will means we have to polish multiple papers as well as create PowerPoint presentations. I've connected with the variety of groups I'm a part of and asked for updates.
All in all, it's more of a day of resting and mental preparation for what's to come. The weekends will be busy, and the weekdays will be busier.

The night started quite hilarious, everyone was manifesting for the upcoming quiz (which would occur within a few minutes) to be canceled. Some hoped it would be rescheduled, while others simply stated not to cram and review anymore since none of it will be registered in their heads anyway from the stress.
There was a chorus of mumbles the second our instructor left the elevator and entered the room, praising him Happy Birthday as it was his big day. We had not planned to purchase any cakes beforehand, so we simply promised to do so at a later time.
Regardless of the not so subtle subtle woo-ing done by my classmates, the quiz continued, and there had never been a more similar face created throughout the room.

Once again, after simultaneously bringing our phones out to review our 56-slide ppts within 30 seconds, the quiz commences.
We all finished at the same time and submitted together. By the time we packed our things and stood up, numerous people already asked our professor for a make-up quiz. We all shared a laugh as we relate to each other. Some already in their acceptance stage while others discussed their answers outside.
By the end of the night, we all once again greeted him happy birthday and hope he would enjoy the rest of the night before leaving to catch our rides home.

During this free time where we don't have any classes, we use this time to spend on finishing the still ongoing circuit we have to create for our logic circuits and design, we created and followed our Tinkercad designs and implemented them in our breadboards.
As for our SDE, we began our black box testing in order to see how our website functioned. The progress is going smoothly although it's quite difficult to manage time for both activities and quizzes which has been occurring more and more within the month.
Throughout the day, we spent it at the 4th floor due to its stronger internet connection and perfect temperature. The outlets also do a great job in keeping our laptops charged.
Most of the time was spent at school finishing projects and making progresses in different fields. Time was well spent from morning to night, and teamwork was clear within groups as we all brainstormed for improvements and polishes.

During this time, our instructor did not conduct any classes with us. For today, I decided to spend sometime studying for some of the subjects that will have a quiz within the next, next week— which includes the subjects my instructor is teaching.
Along with that, me and my groupmates decided to start scanning the next activity as well, which includes the testing for our chosen project. Our programmer also informed us of the updates regarding the coding and the website, as well as the improvements he needs to do for both the front and back end of the website.
It's quite a calm day for everyone, but it's prominent that exhaustion is spreading due to the numerous quizzes as well as the midterm exams peeking around the corner.
This is a short update, since the day was uneventful although productive. It was mostly spend in my room scribbling away and reviewing notes whilst the attempting to finish a certain circuit for our other requirements as well.

Class started five minutes after six, and when our instructor entered, understandably so, he was hungry. It was six in early evening and frankly, I doubt anyone has had dinner due to our classes starting since 4:30.
After a few minutes of recuperation, our class promptly started with our lesson, which for the night was about software testing, testing techniques and strategies, test automation, quality assurance practices, and user acceptance.

Our instructor explained each segment of information in detail, ensuring our understanding by providing examples that would be able to comprehend with ease. He walked across the room to better communicate with the students, regarding everyone in his class whenever the opportunity arrived.
It took a little less than an hour and a half before the lecture ended, and as usual, an activity commenced, this time with our own groups from our projects.
Our first task was quite easy, five pictures was presented on display on the screen of the monitors and we all had to determine what the mistakes or errors were in each photo. He often gifted us with hints on how many mistakes were in one photo, which helped greatly. After identifying each mistake, we had to write or illustrate the solution for each one, something one of my team members (more specifically our programmer) excelled in.
Our project manager a.k.a leader, volunteered to write all the answers down on paper. While transcribing our first activity, me and my other teammates started with the second one.
The second task included us creating a google form where we would create an SUS (System Usability Scale) Form. Our instructor gave us three sample answers on display that we have to recreate and also solve on paper. With the formula and sufficient examples provided, we didn't waste any time and proceeded.

With me writing down on each question on the google form and the other two (our designer and project manager) teaming up to solve the problems, we took no time at all to finish the google form. However, the progress of the creation of our google sheets was delayed due to the weak internet connection. Once we solved it, both me and our programmer joined forces to finish answering the forms three times with the sample answers our instructor gave.
The solution on paper took a little while but was eventually solved using some guidance, something that we then used to finish the google sheets together before submitting both the paper and the links to the google form and sheet.
The night ended with quite the adrenaline, but I wouldn't say I didn't enjoy it. The stimuli and thrill of completing the task was exhilarating, and I can't wait for the class next week.

Today's the day.
Our first quiz for the semester happened today. I distinctly remember most my classmates and I hanging out at the 4th floor to review before returning to the 7th floor (we had a schedule at the same lab an hour before) where more reviewing ensued.
We had a quiz from another subject beforehand as well, so I assumed that it wasn't only me whose brain was almost fried by the time our instructor arrived. Panic and anxiety overwhelmed my thoughts as I realized nothing was entering my head, and I wondered repeatedly if stock knowledge would be enough for it.
Short answer?
No.

A few minutes before the quiz started, phones were out as we all tried to catch on to the last bits of information we could, wondering if it would be enough either way.
Again, for me, it wasn't.
Perhaps it was my own lack of preparation beforehand, and I admit I, myself am to blame, but as much as I answered all the questions, I was only ever confident over a few of them. Self-doubt or self-awareness, the lines of the two blurred during that moment, and I found myself disappointed before the quiz even ended.
Regardless, I finished the quiz telling myself to try harder another time, to not bring myself down over one unfortunate day. I might not have done well in the quiz, but it doesn't represent what I'm capable of doing entirely.
Before returning home, my project groupmates and I presented the updates we had on our website as well as the revisions on our hardware and software requirements. Other than extremely minor changes, our presentation ended well.
It was quite an eventful day, so resting is the best medicine.

Like the past meetups, the clouds appeared heavy as we all met up at the lab. The attendance ensued, and an ice breaker followed in order to increase the students' energy which worked. A lot of the students begged our instructor to continue with the guess the word game, but we already ran out of pictures to guess so we proceeded with the new lesson for the day.
Our lecture included design principles and patterns, software design methodologies, system implementation, coding standards, modularization, code review and refactoring, and integration and deployment.
Due to the late hour, a lot of students were either yawning or discreetly taking a nap. The ones napping didn't last long enough to have a satisfying shut eye though, our instructor walked around the room while conducting the lecture, leading us all to focus on his words especially as he occasionally asked questions regarding some topics.

Not long after, our instructor once again gave us a group activity. We had the same task to create a Canva presentation, but this time, we had to provide a pseudo-code with our answers as well and explain how the co de correlates or aids the scenario that we chose.
My group created a small code for a website that could possibly allow multiple users to edit a document at the same time, akin to google doc. It took us quite a while to finish said pseudo-code as well a few repeating guidance from our instructor, but he was extremely patient with us and re minded us not to stress out with it too much.
We had to determine what software design pattern was used in the code among other things. when presentation came, our leader and the main contributor to the code volunteered to explain its functions. In order to build our skills in analysis, a chosen group also provided a few recommendations for improvements, to which we agreed to.
The presentation proceeded with the other groups until the last. There was a small but light altercation between a reporter of one group and the criticism of the other. Fortunately enough, they managed to settle down with their opinions and we all ended the meeting with a congratulations for us all.
