okay, with that out of the way, I’m just so proud of my digital spreads lately in my digital book. thank you @petite-gloom for the new margin inspiration for my daily journaling pages! also enjoy a lil special interest/hyperfixation/really really cool collection of things page single page I did too! I frankenstein-ed the wildberry bullet journal to fit the personal pages from @petite-gloom!!

i've been working on some sticker sheets (as well as reworking some old ones) even though printing them seems impossible right now. i am making the stickers i want to use in my own planner but i don't know if any of you would be interested in getting them for yourselves, even if it's a printable version.

since we are buying our movie tickets online (and actual movie tickets lose the writing over time anyway), i decided to design a one that i could stick into my notebook as a keepsake, with added space for a rating and some blank space just for aesthetics (also that barcode is supposed to spell movie ticket, nothing fancy really)

i'm going to try to keep all my planning and journaling to one notebook this coming year but i'm still keeping a spillover notebook just in case. i made the inside cover pretty cute already but i'm still trying to find something that works for the actual cover.

28.12.2023 || i'm so excited to be moving into the hobonichi cousin in 2024 that i've been updating the monthly section regularly and i'm not gonna lie, i'm pretty happy with how it's turning out.

Can't wait to migrate things from the weeks to the cousin. It's the avec though, bc the spring-start one was only available jointly with a cover, but I didn't like any of the ones that were available.

I know, we're already at the 5th month to start with the avec. Still, I'm not 100% sure if the cousin is going be *the planner* until the end of the year. If not, I will use the second notebook of the avec as a regular notebook or whatever. Not really worries about that.

Anyways, actually excited to have more space for my thoughts & silly things from the daily life.

08.11.2023 || next week i'll be adding some printable traveler's notebook inserts to the shop. this is mostly a hobonichi weeks resized to the tn regular size because i've been getting into traveler's notebooks and i really don't like how their dated inserts look, so i made my own. this is a full year divided in two books, they each have a full year index calendar, six monthly views and 26 weeklies with a note on the opposite side (as i said, a hobonichi weeks for those who are familiar)

you can print them on regular printer paper but i suggest you find some paper you actually enjoy writing on. i will personally print them in loose leaf midori cream paper, just like the official inserts. and you can either print them in color, with this first page in one of my favorite reds and the rest in a subtle brown, or print black and white if you dislike the color scheme or simply want to save on printer ink.

as i said, these will be available next week (maybe this weekend if i can manage it) and they are only the first of many to come since i have a bunch of ideas. but if you want something specific, dm me and i'll see what i can do.

as per usual, these will be free+ (pay what you want) but if you have some money to spend, consider buying me a coffee, every cent help.

07.11.2023 || when the urge to move into a new planner is so strong but you can't do it cause the planner starts in january.

this is just me recreating the hobonichi cousin daily pages on my a5 stalogy only a couple of months after i made printables for the weekly pages, of course.

i really want a fresh start but oh well, i'll have to wait until the new year actually starts

hey so i wanted to jump in here to add my own experience cause i too was bothered by the 6-square margin when i first got the weeks. what i do is leave on square on the left and write the five days of the week on the left of the line and the weekend on the right. this creates a nice separation for the weekend and also gives me an extra space to add a marker for the tasks such as a star for important tasts or a migration arrow for things i've migrated.

I’ve noticed that in your weekly hobonichi spreads you combine Saturday and Sunday under the same column in your task list on the right. I’m assuming it’s done for the aesthetics (since Weeks has this annoying 6-square margin and you don’t want to cut off a single day). I wanted to ask, how is that working out for you? I.e., do you ever find it annoying that you don't have separate spaces for those two days? Or did you find you actually don't need that extra Sunday tickbox?

I promise I’m not trying to call you out, I’m just a poor tormented soul that is considering getting Weeks for 2024 and just trying to figure out whether it would work.

Thank you so much for taking the time to view my planner setup! I was annoyed at first to discover that there were only six boxes in that margin space, but the way I’ve been using it hasn’t bothered me at all. I tend to slow down on the weekends, and weekend tasks tend to get lumped together in my brain, rather than separated by day, so this setup actually works right along with how my brain works. If I didn’t have such a consistent schedule, or I had to work on Saturdays and/or Sundays, this probably wouldn’t work for me as well as it does now. Having a regular, consistent Monday-Friday schedule is what makes this work for me. I hope that helps! Happy planning!

Digital Planner Preview

last year i made some templates for myself because i was very into digital planning.

what i wanted was a digital planner that resembled the hobonichi cousin with a minimal design so that i could customize it from week to week like a bullet journal and that i could reuse year after year.

what i came up with is what you can see in the first image, an undated planner with four different templates for different uses. the grid on all the sections is a 5mm grid and the templates are a4 size. it was important to me to have be able to see the month and the week in one page so that’s why i chose a horizontal layout and it served me pretty well.

now let me explain a bit more what’s in each of the templates.

calendar: this one is self-explanatory, it’s a calendar with room for six weeks. it also has a sidebar for whatever you want to use it and a space on the top to add the month.

weekly: also self-explanatory, this template has a full vertical week on one page, plus the sidebar. the blank space on top of the sidebar is where i used to add a monthly calendar and highlight the current week but it can be used for other things. each day also has a divider at the top, for events or important tasks or meals.

daily/notes: these two i used interchangeably depending on my mood. the first one has three columns with a space to write the date at the top left corner and thew second one has a sidebar and a top bar with a wider section that’s not divided.

in the second image you can see an example of how i used these pages. it’s more in line with how i plan currently on a physical book, only using a couple of colors and my handwriting. but i used to go nuts with different colored pens and highlighters, digital stickers, and even photos.

now, would you be interested in me making this available to you guys? because i can definitely do that. i can also modify this to make it more printable friendly (like maybe splitting the pages so that you guys can have a big calendar on two a5 pages instead).

13.09.2023 || it's back to school season and i really need the motivation to finish my stupid degree so i plan to start posting here again. i also plan on doing some videos on yt documenting the more mundane aspects of life, just so i can hold myself accountable and actually do stuff. i'll drop a link over here when i post something. also chech out my ko-fi for some printables while i try to figure out if i'm going to be able to manufacture actual stickers this year. anyway that's all for this update, by y'all :)
