Hey! Thought I'd finally do an update with this AU.

Due to some events in my personal life in the past two months or so, I've lost a lot of interest in Enstars and I don't think this AU will continue much in the current time. I want to get the initial cards finished since I do have around half of NewDi done and just sitting on my laptop.

I've cleared out inbox questions about my headcanons. You're still free to ask me about the AU but I can't guarantee I will or be able to answer them.

If for some reason any of y'all are very attached to this AU, feel free to continue it yourselves or submit ideas/posts. I have no idea how post submission works, so you can just use the ask box lmao.

So Nice and the new kids 4Piece are out, would you do a swap au of them soon when enough info comes?

I honestly don't think we'll get to 4Piece with this AU, so I'm not really thinking about them. My interest in Enstars has dropped a lot since the last time I've worked on this so currently I just want to wrap up all the initial cards. I might work on this more in the future, but we'll see.

I made my own Enstars Swap AU inspired by you (: There is more information in a post I made if you want to check it out. Basically Ritsu and Rei’s fall out caused the war which in turn caused the events of Enstars. I tried not to put character in there original units but Shinobu gets a pass because he’s a special boy.

What’s Leo and Madara’s relationship like, and what are they both like in general?

Leo and Madara don't really have a relationship in this AU at all and only really met in the !! era (mostly because one goes to Yumenosaki and the other goes to Reimei). They've probably encountered each other here and there (in less significant stories like ones from scouts).

Leo is a lot like himself in canon. I honestly feel like there's not much of a difference other than his friends.

He hates being seen as different just because of his talents, especially as a result of the War.

Madara is a lot more open to relying on others and has a pretty close relationship with Rei and Izumi.

He also doesn't call himself Mama. Kaoru does. He still tries to adopt people though

Yeah!!

Akatsuki is a lot less popular in swap then they are in canon and they are not helping(?) fine in the ! era Main Story, instead playing a role similar to Undead

They're really close knit. I imagine they cook a lot together

They're also really close to Undead and Ryusetai

When they were forming, Midori joined last. He was a bit hesitant at first but they eventually grew on him (and he realized Nagisa and Adonis were a lot more chill than he thought they would be)

A lot of the fine formation (particularly what led to Tatsumi and Arashi) can be found at the end of this post! Hajime joined because he was friends with Arashi and Shu was kind just dragged into it after he transferred from Reimei (as he couldn't find anyone he was willing to make a unit with so he ended up joining the one he thought he could make the best)

I have a question, are Jin and Akiomi involved in this story?

Yes! They'll probably be there, but only really in events (if I get to those) and the Main Stories, so they probably will only really show up in ! Main Story and !! SS Arc. It really depends on how I end up writing it tbh..

I might do script-fics with the movie, Element, Crossroads, and Checkmate! Really depends on how far along I get LOL!

He's one of the few people who have some sort of idea of what happened during the War despite not being at Yumenosaki at the time. Sora and Yuuta try very hard to not reveal any of the details to him or Tori.

He might still be online besties with Kohaku, although that depends on how I end up writing the main story

He has suspicions about Yuuta but hasn't told anyone but Tori. Tori doesn't really believe him

Hello!!! I just found this blog and omg it looks so cool. What is Tatsumi and Mayoi's relationship like in this AU, and in general what are both of them like? as a TatsumiP him being in Eichi's place makes my heart break (positive) please I need to know more

Mayoi and Tatsumi's relationship is... strained at the least. Mayoi does NOT like Tatsumi and is sort of scared of him. There is definitely a lot of Valkyrie-fine beef that's similar to canon.

Tatsumi had tried to mend his relationship with the Eccentrics, but it didn't go the best. He's managed to earn Nagisa, Sora, and kind of Rinne's forgiveness, but Mayoi and Leo still can't forgive him for what he did to them and especially ex-Ra*bits. Mayoi dislikes Tatsumi's "saint" motif/persona especially. They basically just try to avoid each other as much as they can, although Tatsumi reaches out sometimes when Valkyrie is struggling in hopes he can mend things.

Idol order has been changed very slightly for s!Knights, just so that Checkmate can still happen. Chiaki is now the leader of swap!Knights (instead of Keito)!

Hey I was kinda curious over how/if childhood friendships were affected in your au like Hiyori with Nagisa and Eichi, and Keito with Eichi and Rei?

I haven't really touched backstories yet (I've barely started mapping out swap ! era main story), but they will stay as close to canon as I can keep them and only be changed if necessary.

Sure thing!

She is the main reason Shu and Hajime are in fine.

She's also basically adopted Hajime and she spoils him a lot. Shu and Tatsumi tell her not to do it, but they also end up doing it.

She sometimes helps out Shu when he's making designs for their unit, acting as their "test model"

Shu has made at least one dress for her

Hii oomf… what’s tsumugis personality in the swap au and how is the relationship between tsumugi and Mayoi?

Tsumugi is pretty similar his canon self, but he's a lot more open to change. He idolizes Mayoi a lot, although the other is only partially aware of it.

Despite Tsumugi being the leader of Valkyrie, he feels that he can't match Mayoi's talent and is letting the other down since he's supposed to be his senior. His performances are just slightly more sloppy than Mayoi and he takes so so much more time training.

Mayoi, on the other hand, feels awful about this and has tried to sabotage his own work just so that the two would be "equal". He helps Tsumugi as much as he can, but he feels guilty at the fact that performing comes to him easier than the other.

Basically, swap Valk's story is exploring the dynamic between someone who struggles to improve and a "gifted child".

Izumi will not admit he's attached to the rest of Eden. He half pretends to be annoyed with Eichi all the time.

Trap For You was Eichi's idea

Izumi and Madara have opposite-ish feelings towards their respective unit leaders. Madara sort of idolizes Rei.

They spoil Kaname.

Adam and Eve have a semi-competitive dynamic when they're not working together, even before/after Conquest.

Mao has Leo on a metaphorica leash all the time to keep him from spontaneously combusting. Nazuna tries to help.

Ryusetai juniors have like a sibling or cousin dynamic, Nazuna being the responsible/older one and Hiiro being the youngest, the will accidentally blow up a toaster one, and Hiyori being the rich cousin you forget you had

They're good friends with Akatsuki and Trickstar
