The angst potential alone haunts me. How long do you think he waited for Ford?? When did it start to sink in that nobody was coming to save him, that nobody would miss him? Would anybody even want him back? How long did it take for his anger, his heartbreak, his grief to turn into acceptance and a belief that this was divine retribution? How long did he work, how many jobs did he take, how much wealth did he accrue, how many brushes with death did he have until he believed he’d “earned” the right to go home and see his brother?? Many such questions. I need to go deeper

The reason is never explored in canon, which was another GLARING flaw in the show's worldbuilding. I assumed it was because he was an enemy leader, but that explanation never satisfied me because Micah would have been far more useful to the Horde as a hostage.

We're led to assume that Shadow Weaver was surprised and relieved to see him alive, which never made sense. As the Horde's second-in-command, Shadow Weaver would have been informed of Micah's capture. She would have certainly been aware of his exile, if not responsible for the logistics herself. How did someone with that much power and responsibility find herself cut out of the loop?

Hordak most likely made the decision to exile Micah, but that's profoundly nonsensical. Hordak may have been ruthless, but he wasn't stupid. He wouldn't have thrown away an invaluable bargaining chip that he could have used as leverage to force Bright Moon, his most powerful opponent, to capitulate.

Honestly, I think Micah was brought into the show in late season 4 as a cheap story twist. The writers wanted to give viewers a surprise, but didn't bother to make the surprise logical.

does anyone remember why Micah was sentenced to Beast Island?

and does anyone else feel like it was another example of the 'uncivilized kook' trope when he was introduced?

Shin, having come slightly unglued from the horrors of war, decides to act on all the bizarre impulses that most of us experience but never carry out. He empties out the cola onto the carpet with a deranged smile.

Mickey stares in stunned silence.

Shin proceeds to pull all the tissues out of a nearby tissue box, shove all the billiard balls from Nguyen's pool game into the pool table pockets, and sing at the top of his lungs.

The massive Galactic Horde collab with the awesome Draculadana on IG is finished! Original collab post here. Took over a year, but we're super proud of the result!! :D

Prime has summoned his second-in-command Hordak and Hordak’s two generals to send legions of clones into space conquest. Hordak cannot contain his eagerness to prove himself as a powerful leader and warrior to Prime.

In spite of reusing some visual elements, this is not related to my own Galactic Horde/young Hordak AU. MOTU and Thranduil's garb provided further inspiration. We've used different colors to signify rank and position in the clone brotherhood.

It's been a headcanon of mine for a while that clones don't take the death of one of their own lightly. No one hour funeral, a few hours sitting around after talking and then back to life for them. They were treated as disposable for centuries. They won't do that again.
