Fear exists in the shadow.⠀ It exists in the unknown and the places in between.⠀ Where the old is falling away, and the new is not yet here.⠀ ⠀ We as a collective are in an in-between place right now and we have a choice. We choose how we feel.⠀ ⠀ Choosing love means staying in a place of trust.⠀ Expanding our hearts and leaving them wide open towards ourselves and each other.⠀ ⠀ Knowing where we want to go and how we desire our world to look like. Connecting to our values and bringing them into our everyday lives, right now and right here.⠀ ⠀ How do you want to feel?⠀ And how can you make yourself feel this way?⠀ ⠀ One of my core values is soulful connection and I truly choose that over other choices even when I am staying at home. Soulful connection to me means staying present with my husband, our daughters, and our dogs. To connect with me, take time to ground, meditate and journal. To take well care of me first, because only from a full cup I can give. Filling up and balancing my energy is my priority. Grounding my body and bringing my mind to the present moment is my practice. Coming back to what is, right now and right here in my reality. There is such a fine line between being self-aware and holding ourselves small with excuses.⠀ ⠀ Where is our empathy starting?⠀ Where is the victimhood ending?⠀ ⠀ I am experiencing and experimenting with comfort zones.⠀ I did step out of my comfort zone in so many ways and at the same time, there are areas of my life where I hold myself really tight.⠀ ⠀ In our social circles, we do want to keep the ones we love save and this oftentimes means that we do share our comfort zones with them and out of empathy we make our own safe space the limit of possibility for others.⠀ ⠀ So, if you stretch beyond where you normally are, if you show up more visible, if you get more vulnerable, the ones that love you most may be there to remind you of your pain and safe zone.⠀ ⠀ They want you to be safe.⠀ They want you to not outgrow them.⠀ They want to put you back into place.⠀ ⠀ Because they love you.⠀ ⠀ And often, we shrink back, as we are already uncomfortable with setting feet onto unknown land and every little sign can be the thing that makes us contract back towards where we are used to be.⠀ ⠀ Having someone by your side to make this step from one shore to the other, is what I am here for.⠀ I see you on the other side.⠀ I see your potential and I remind you of your light.⠀ ⠀ And I do the same for me.⠀ I know how it feels to have one feet on here and the other already there.⠀ I know the stretch it creates and I hold the space for it at the same time.⠀ ⠀ For me it was the commitment to book someone to help us with getting our garden ready and the fencing done. What does it take to really and fully step into entrepreneurship and being supported by your soulful business?⠀ ⠀ I feel how this question feels so different to me in the different stages of my business.⠀ There is no one straight answer, but lots of different perspectives and waves.⠀ ⠀ I had many different businesses, my first one at 16 years old when I moved out on my own. I suddenly had to pay for my life and make things work on my own. ⠀ ⠀ I was naive and fearless.⠀ ⠀ Becoming a mother made me so much more cautious. It was when my first daughter was born that things did change around for myself and I decided to be the best possible example for her while she is growing up.⠀ ⠀ I try to let my daughters grow the way they grow, but I do change myself as much as I can into a better version of myself.⠀ ⠀ This to me is not about perfection, but about honesty and a new way of fearlessness. It's about a way of looking reality into the eyes.⠀ ⠀ Having a soulful business with my husband working in corporate by my side was an easy choice. ⠀ I did have the luxury and privilege to stay in alignment.⠀ ⠀ There was naturally no pressure, which made my business bloom and expand in a natural and effortless way. ⠀ ⠀ There was no fear, which made me make every choice from a place of love without effort.⠀ ⠀ Having my husband join me in my business was (and still is) the most beautiful thing.⠀ ⠀ Working together. Your home and the space you live and work in is related to your brand and business.⠀ ⠀ Everything is energy.⠀ ⠀ Yesterday on a client I could feel how the woman I am working with on building her brand and website has become such a new version of herself, her vibration is on new levels and the home she lives in feels stuck in the past to her.⠀ ⠀ I notice this so often. ⠀ Our home has a vibration and if we uplevel as a person, we sometimes outgrow our home. ⠀ ⠀ This also works the other way around.⠀ When you upgrade your home and the energy of your home, your vibration will follow.⠀ ⠀ For many of us online entrepreneurs, we are working from home and curating our surroundings can make such a big difference.⠀ ⠀ Some tips on how you can upgrade your home:⠀ ⠀ ✨ Start decluttering. Look around in your home and try to feel into things you have in your surroundings. Touch them if needed so you can feel if those things bring you joy. ⠀ Start making space and let go of the things that feel especially heavy.⠀ ⠀ ✨Move the energy. Change things up in your home and move furniture or decoration. Rearrange the space that you feel have stale energy. ⠀ ⠀ ✨Clean. Just cleaning out the places where your home where you usually not clean regularly can already bring in new energy and make you feel more spacious.⠀ ⠀ Curating the space you live and work in is part of my branding approach. Self-responsibility is not about perfection.⠀ ⠀ To me, being responsible for myself means that I fully trust in my own inner truth and path. I take ownership of my emotions. I allow them and I allow myself to move through them when they come up. ⠀ This emotional stability is what holds and anchors me into the truth. This is what awakens my intuition.⠀ ⠀ It means that I hold myself and stay fully true to my path, no matter the outcome. I practice to be fully aware of my humanness.⠀ ⠀ It's okay to not be perfect. ⠀ It's okay to not get everything right.⠀ It's okay to feel worthy and enough in our imperfection.⠀ ⠀ My humanness shows up in so many ways.⠀ I get angry, I judged and I get jealous. ⠀ ⠀ And for such a long time, I didn't want to see these parts as a part of myself. ⠀ I pushed them away and covered them up, but by covering them up. I am giving my power away.⠀ ⠀ I gave my power away and tiptoed around my inner truth, always with a hidden fear to awaken those parts of me. Always silencing my intuition.⠀ ⠀ With a deep hope of being saved and with a longing inside of me that one-day things would magically fall into place. Bending myself to accommodate others.⠀ Being driven from a place of proofing to myself and those around me. Proofing that I am not at all angry when deep down I was.⠀ Proofing that I don't judge when it was a way to survive and find my worth in a sea of unworthiness.⠀ Proofing that there is no jealousy in me when everything in me contracted and felt tight.⠀ ⠀ Accepting those feelings of anger, judgment, and jealousy as a part of me, frees me up.⠀ ⠀ I take my power back and I am responsible for how I feel. What is your superpower?⠀ ⠀ I see this so often, in myself and others around us that so often we are so trained to be blind towards what our own superpowers are.⠀ ⠀ Our strengths are our most potential. ⠀ Therefore working on the parts we are not so good in and aren't our strengths, is a way of self-limitation and not living and stepping in our potential.⠀ ⠀ Not leaning into our strengths, is the same as not using our superpower.⠀ ⠀ Often we know better what we are not good at, then what our biggest strengths are. ⠀ ⠀ We are good to point out what others are really good at, but knowing it for ourselves, sometimes is so close (and often comes so easy) that we negate it and ignore it.⠀ ⠀ My strength is beauty.⠀ It's one of the parts of me I truly admire. Allowing ourselves our desires and how I want to embrace beauty more in the coming year.⠀ ⠀ Sometimes the things that are most obvious to others about us from an outside view, are not as easy to see and embrace from our own (sometimes limited) inside view.⠀ ⠀ Working through my Winter Guidebook (I did send it out last week to my newsletter - feel free to send me a message if you want a copy) I am deciding and connecting with how I desire to feel and what I desire to embrace even more in my life and one of this things is, to allow myself to be surrounded with beauty.⠀ ⠀ Reflecting on beauty and what this means to me unravelled a lot of shame being attached to it. I could feel guilt of already having so much beauty in my life and for wanting my every moment be beautiful. Seeing how in lots of different ways in the past I did not allow myself to fully embrace it. I tried to downplay and judged myself for it, when it is the really thing that nourishes me and my soul on an energy level.⠀ ⠀ Beauty to me is one of my core values and I want to embrace it like this in my life and business:⠀ ⠀ ✨Having a home and garden filled with things I love and that are beautiful. Allowing myself to be surrounded with beauty in my physical surroundings.⠀ ⠀ ✨ Feeling beautiful, inside and out. Taking the time for meditation, kundalini, emotional healing and journalling on a daily basis. Nourishing my body with healthy and (as much as possible local) food from the ground. ⠀ ⠀ ✨As a designer, my work is to make things beautiful. To infuse beauty in brands and business through creating a visual impression and energy imprint. ⠀ I didn't recognise how much of this felt just secondary and how much of this I downplayed in the past. Creating beautiful logos, graphics and visual stories makes me filled up and is what I love doing. Your brand, website and how you are visible online are an extension of you and your aura. ✨⠀ ⠀ Your aura is the electromagnetic energy field around you. ⠀ You generate your field with your emotions, thoughts, actions, and intentions. 🏹⠀ ⠀ Having a website and visual expression that is infused with your future dreams, visions and who you are at the core creates and generates this energy field. ⠀ ⠀ Having a brand and website that holds you accountable for who you want to be and how you want to show up in the world is a reminder to you to remind your true essence and being.⠀ ⠀ And I believe that you are the one that best knows and can decide what colors, fonts, and the vibe are right for you. Therefore creating a brand is a co creation and collaboration process for me.
