*sees person #76328 admit they had a crush on kovu from the lion king when they were a tween* YOU KNOW WHAT? NO. FUCK THIS. FUCK YOU *becomes a nazi*

😭? this doesn't even register as An Animal or A Furry to me personally. this thing is in the same category as like, rayman or something you'd see in an episode of fraggle rock.

i like when the art bloggers get into Moods. some days it's swimming pools, other days it's apartment windows at night with the lights on. tonight it's beaches.

comparing the US (one massive country) to europe (many smaller countries) imo doesn't illustrate that it's sooo bizarre that america has maintained a relatively homogeneous dominant (<- keyword) culture for its massive size, it illustrates the power of the "nation" and the influence that the state exerts over the subjects within its borders. it illustrates the power of white nationalism.
anyways, speaking of borders and white nationalism, i wonder if colonization has anything to do with the present state of culture in america. guess we'll never know. it's not like everyone's been talking about current and ongoing events relevant to the question of who is allowed to set foot on US soil.
"the US doesn't have culture(s)" always reveals that the person making this claim has interesting ideas about what constitutes A Culture.

"culture is nonexistent in america" = A Culture is when the language, cuisine, dress, customs, and beliefs are alien to me. i'm so familiar with these things as they pertain to the US that i see them as a default mode of living and being, separate from culture.
