Final Letter
Dearly beloved, I write to you once more. Oh how my body craves your gentle embrace. And you warm loving smile on a cold winters night. I don’t know how much longer I have on this earth; So as my hands shake and my lips quiver. I am reminded of the ghost of you once again. The way my lips would tremble after every sweet kiss; And the way my heart would always sing your name. If only you still existed in this world; You could hear me speak the words of my heart. Oh how I’d tell you my love how you made me feel. But alas to the letter that will never be delivered; To an address that no longer contains you, my beloved. This letter rots on the desk that will no longer belong to me. As my time is slowly fading I leave to you these words. Though my words were spoken too late, my feelings will always last. As I await my time to end, and to be greeted into your loving arms; I reminisce of our past, once again getting lost in your eyes. Oh how I hope there’s still a place for me in your heart; On an earth that is beyond death, I hope our love never died.

Old Love.
Softly staring at the photo, the one I had cherished.
Stirs a name inside, one that was so sweet.
But upon holding on, my heart is left to ache.
Unable to grasp the words, she last spoke.
Alas I'm left to sit here, with all of the pain.
As I await to say goodbye, my sweet old love.
