Introducing some of my CRK OCs! These guys were the first two cookies that I’ve designed, with Charred Ash being almost identical to their initial design, and Mold going through some significant outfit changes lol.

Charred Ash Cookie is a fanchild of Burning Spice and Shadow Milk (pre-corruption), inspired by this post. I didn't realize until after I had already sketched them that the comic was referring to Capsaicin Cookie... but at that point I was too invested in the idea of a cookie that was literally ash and borderline crumbling.

SMC, in his attempts to understand cookie physiology, wanted to bake his own cookies, and BSC volunteered to contribute some of his crumbs to the project (think of it like DNA). The combination of the 2's crumbs, on top of being significantly over baked, resulted in Charred Ash Cookie. It was a literally miracle that they were alive, considering the fact that their flavor had been so burned out of them, they were literally crumbling and shedding ash just by existing. They continued to live and grow up, learned to manage their chronic pain, but eventually they isolated themself because the ash that they shed made other cookies very very sick.

Enter Mold Cookie! Mold Cookie's design is roughly based on the Nosoi, greek spirits of pestilence and disease. Because she's got greek inspiration, I thought it would be interesting if she was initially from Eternal Sugar's 'court'. She lived outside of paradise, and when cookies left, she would infect them with mold to send them running back to ESC (if the monsters didn't manage to do it first). When the beasts get sealed in the big ol' tree, Mold realized that she didn't have to stick around paradise anymore, and booked it to an isolated zone in Beast Yeast. There, she met Charred Ash.

At first, both cookies were hesitant to be near each other; they left their respective homes to avoid hurting others. They quickly found out that Mold Cookie's spores couldn't latch onto Charred Ash (because of their lack of moisture in their dough), and Mold had a natural resistance to the sickness that Charred Ash Cookie's ash induced. Thus, instant besties! (and mayhaps... lovers? 👀)

Charred Ash is a ranged cookie and uses a meteor hammer to attack. Their skill has them throw one end of their weapon with so much force, it creates a crater. Mold uses a gunbai, a non-folding war fan, and is a bomber cookie. Her skills and attacks center around wafting spores of mold at the enemy, which infect them and leech at their health.

crk gijinka (pt 1?)

my friends and i decided to try out @actuallyrea 's cookie run gatcha gijinka challenge! my rng assigned baked goods were ninja cookie, pancake cookie, purple yam cookie, and pavlova cookie. i had a ton of fun drawing them (tho i one hundred percent did not realize the all my lads were in fact lads. thought at least 2 of em were girls. twas sorely disappointed. solution? ninja cookie is now a trans woman, i dont make the rules.)

(also. these were done shortly after the eternal sugar update, so pavlova is not. 100% canon to chapter 10. whoops)
