[He trails off and settles. They're not giving off any emotion strong enough for him to feed from, so he'll just have to wait for the hour to be over.

His phone lets off two short buzzes, indicative of a text message. He's clearly exasperated as he checks it and responds.]

[He walks into the room and pulls off his satchel bag, sitting in one of the provided armchairs and scrolling through an article on his phone while he waits for the volunteer to arrive]

[He says as he scoops them up in a single fluid motion, holding them at the waist and under their knees. He steps over the threshold and closes the door behind them with a gentle back kick of his foot before making his way up the stairs]
