Well done to Stephanie Mcloughlin and Roo who attended Duchy today for the BRC dressage qualifiers! Although they had a couple of small mistakes in their test, they achieved 71.38% and came 5th 馃槏 To date, this is their best score and they will continue to grow from strength to strength I am sure. Good luck for the rest of the season Steph! 馃専 (at Duchy Equine College, Callington, Cornwall)

Mother and daughter duo rode to the occasion today at The Grange! Kerry O'Shea Martin started the day with a great double clear in the 70cm on her trusty mare Dora and even placed which is a huge success for them. But Sinead Martin had to go one better by winning the Discovery and riding a cracking round in the Newcomers at their first show since Christmas. This was all under the watchful eye of their trainer Bev Trebilcock! Well done ladies 馃槝 #teamlegonna (at The Grange Equestrian)

To kick start 2017, I would like to congratulate Cornish ride Emily White and her cracking little Mare Betty. She said that it felt so good to get out with 'Betty Brave Pants'! After some time away from competing the nerves were kicking in so had to have her dressage test read to her. 馃檲 But with adrenaline kicking in she rode a lovely test and a cracking round. Well done Emily and Betty, good luck for the season ahead and keep us updated

I have recently been speaking with Georgia Stokes about her horse S.O.S Talented Mr Ripley, it goes without doubt that he is living up to his name! They have danced their way to a successful year and Georgia said that it has been the best competative year of her life! They started off in January with a win in the PSG at Addington High Profile and he has not been outside the top ten at any premier league shows all season. They have recently competed in their first Grand Prix and also competed at the national championships in serious company. They came in the top 14 to qualify for the inter one music freestyle which was very exciting, although something they were not prepared for. Luckily Claire Deithrick had sorted some music but they never thought that they would have needed to use it. They finished 13th which was a huge acheivement. They are feeling very confident for the future and she thinks that he has been waiting all of his life to be a Grand Prix horse as they spent a good few years doing everything in passage, but now he is finally allowed to do it. What an incredible year they have had and I can only suspect that next year will be even better! Well done Team SOS 馃惔馃弳 #equestrian #britishdressage #dressage #teamsos #horse

On the 22nd October at Kings Sedgmoor Equestrian Centre, the 2016 West Somerset and Devon Dressage Championships were held. Local rider Tamsin O'Connor was riding two of Jackie Hutchings Arabian horses, one in the prelimary class and the other in the Novice class. To their joy they came away with the two championships. Her homebred Mellway Silver Sheen also came first at the Nationals AHS. A very proud moment for all! Well done Tamsin, wat fabulous results. Keep it up! 馃弳馃惔馃弳

Congratulations to Helen Redington who achieved a 64% and 66% in two prelim classes over the weekend on her 16 year old horse. Although he is a vetran horse, he had never done dressage before Helen owned him. Due to her exams she has been unable to take training seriously and only got back into the swing of things over the past few months so it really is a great result! Congratulations Helen! 馃弳
