 THEY COULD HAVE BEEN ANYWHERE, stayed in the most TRIUMPHANT of places that would accompany their needs of being elderly and such. BUT, the two must have been determined, they INDEED had ONE MORE THING  to do before the RETIREMENT home came calling, and they’d end up like bill’s grandma preston, who ended up spread out in her hospital bed back in the 90′s

       HE WAS PRACTICALLY OUT OF BREATH; from running like his life had depended on it, all while covered in grim and dirt from hiding out in the forest area patch that lined the aesthetic that was the beauty of HAWKINS. Flo hadn’t even been able to keep up with his CALIFORNIAN way of speaking, her eye squeezing into the middle of her face behind her spectacles.

      ‘  TED AND MYSELF had the most resplendent idea that, if we mark off the house with painters tape, we could determine which side of the house is which. THAT WAY, we all can live here in the best of harmony.  there is only one issue, elizabeth...  ’   he clasped his hands together, trying not to look towards the garage that still was a wyld stayllns meeting point, and in NO WAY going to be fashioned with such tape.  this house belonged to everyone, including the new additions....

     SAN DIMAS---1989  //  THE RING OF GUITAR was still in the air, echoing from the buzz of the amplifier;  a humble reminder that he was still LEARNING how to play the axe in his trembling hands.  FLASHING lights from the outside world alerted his gaze and with the flick of a button, the garage door was opening.

   BUT THIS WAS NOT the booth he knew and loved, and in a panic, eyes moved to the booth that was nearby, still located on his lawn from his-self and ted’s LAST trip to the BODACIOUS 1970′s to see a youthful GENE SIMMONS take stage.    ‘  uhmm. hello ?   ’  bill called out to the swirling egg shape, watching the figure exit.  ‘  WHOA!!!  ’

OUT OF THE PHONEBOOTH:  i really enjoyed the movie for what it represented 30+ years after the original. for me and all the other major b&t fans, it gave us something new, while still holding onto that old spirit of the films. i had a couple of issues, but I am going to remain unbiased and continue to enjoy the fact there is new bill & ted content, AND a new slew of fans that have come to admire my dad’s.
