Recovery is a struggle. Not every day is going to be easy. You’ll have your up days when you feel like everything is finally going to be alright, where you’re super productive and feel satisfied the whole day. And you’ll have your down days full of hours in bed, tears, and minimal effort at life. Recovery is not simple and it is rarely a quick process. What’s important, though, is that you remember you will get through it! The down days will give to up days eventually, until they’re the minority and you’re left content more often than not. Until then, I’m proud of everyone going through a hard time right now. It takes real strength to make the effort to get yourself better and I can’t wait until you all discover your happiest selves.
