IT'S BACK
Hello friends I just wanted to make a quick post to let you know that the Kickstarter for the Safety Eye Snappers is back up!
Sorry for the brief post but I have a migraine atm so if you'd like more info you can read through the campaign at the link above or see my older post about the first campaign!
TLDR: We have the opportunity to fund what I think is one of the greatest inventions ever, a tool to help you secure safety eyes to your amigurumi. The Kickstarter is back up with a more realistic funding goal.
Disclaimer, of course, please make sure you understand how Kickstarter works; I'm not affiliated with this product or the team behind it, I haven't tried the product IRL, I get nothing from anyone who pledges through the links above, and I've already pledged myself :)

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The campaign has been cancelled due to confusion about the funding goal, but the creator plans to start a new Kickstarter campaign in the future with a more realistic funding goal (to my understanding). For any of us who backed the campaign, we will not be charged anything since it was cancelled.
I plan to back the new campaign myself again and post about it here whenever it goes up, but I understand if any of you are no longer interested due to the mess 馃槄
Here's hoping the new campaign goes up soon and goes smoothly, cuz I want these in my life so bad 馃馃徎馃馃徎馃馃徎
Kickstarter for the Amigurumi Makers!
Hi everyone! Sorry for the absence of posts on this blog again 馃槄 I was laid off mid-Feb and all of my brain space has been reserved for refreshing my skills and job-searching, but hopefully I'll be back to work soon and then I can queue up some more posts here! (It takes me hours... I also need to find a better way to do that...)
ANYWAY
I wanted to make this post about a Kickstarter that I am incredibly excited about!!!
These Safety Eye Snappers that can be used to easily add safety eyes to your amigurumi without all the hand and finger pain!!!
As a chronic pain girlie myself, I started following this product the second I heard about it's existence lol
The kickstarter just went up so I wanted to mention it here for anyone who might be interested!
If you've never used Kickstarter before, please make sure you're informed about how it works! Research to your heart's content to make sure you're comfortable. The gist is that projects are all-or-nothing based on whether they reach their funding goal, so if you back a project that doesn't end up reaching it's goal, you don't receive any rewards you pledged for, but you also aren't charged anything.
As of writing this post, though, this Kickstarter looks to be fully funded!!!!
Note: I am not at all affiliated with this product or the team behind it, they have no idea of my existence, and I get nothing from any pledges anyone makes. I have not tried the product in-person myself at all. They don't know I exist. I'm just a girl who's incredibly excited about the existence of this product. Like I kinda wanted to cry when I found out about this because getting safety eyes on amigurumi is so hard and hurts so much :')
Here's the Kickstarter link again if you're interested, and I hope to get back to posting crochet patterns here soon! Hope you all are doing well! 馃挄馃挄馃挄馃Ф
