The Resolution for Women Week 1 Review: When I first began reading this book, I had made a goal to read three chapters a week. But once I began, I couldn’t get past the first chapter. The content of its truth gripped me so hard. It wasn’t a reality that I could ignore. I didn’t want to. And so I purposed not to move forward until I could grasp the true meaning of being content; living content. I remember a saying Joyce Meyer said in one of her sermons. She said that for some things in your life, you need to make college courses out of them. Meaning, don’t jump to the next thing when you haven’t mastered the first. I believe this to be worthy advice for me to follow. Each chapter of this book contains short segments that have thought provoking questions and assignments at the end. For some of those questions, I couldn’t answer them right away. I had to take a day or two to think about and reflect on them. I had to ask God to search my heart. Find out what I discovered by clicking the link in my profile.

Through understanding how we relate to God, we can see that the Door (Way, Truth, and Life - Jesus) is always open unto Him. We can approach Him at any time we need to.

Jesus is the Head
Being connected to Jesus Christ, the Head, means that we, His body, can't do anything that is contrary to what He has done or does.
