Yeah as soon as they have the comic relief chew toy out here going WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE it's like 'maybe you're gonna die but the batch is built different.' (I do think Rampart MIGHT get snacked on by the zillo beast. I'd be down for it as long as he gets a suitably amusing scream.)
As for Tech, I actually am very confident in getting him back, because separate from the social media teasing where they do lovely things like drop gifs of a dragon that gets resurrected on the evil guy's team and mention 'WINTER SOLDIER IS MY FAVORITE MCU FILM' there's also just a ton in the show itself, which would have been pretty much done well before Plan 99 even aired. If I had zero social media and just watched the show, I'd absolutely assume Tech was alive and coming back. It's just what they've written. At this point, it'd be weird for him not to be given the particular way they've drug it out, giving us justttt enough mentions to keep him on our mind but no closure to tell us he's not coming back. Plus the ambiguity of his fall to begin with. Writing all of that in there and then not fulfilling it would mean actively planning to disappoint a good chunk of the audience just because they feel like being mean I guess, which I don't think is the goal here.
Watching people trying to outpace the agony of everyone else's finale prediction for TBB and I'm just remembering how a bunch of people thought The Mandalorian season 3 was definitely killing off Din and leaving Grogu a traumatized orphan and then they literally ended up winning, doing an official adoption, and living on a nice farm.

Which is why I kind of try to tune out what's said outside the show and focus on what's in it. We have a lot lined up that I think can only come to fruition if we have a reasonably positive ending - and unlike a lot of Star Wars shows where we have a bigger galactic goal, for TBB they're really just focused on the emotional growth of this family. It's much harder to make it feel like the whole show is Worth It if they're killed off at the end, because then what was the whole thing for, if that makes sense?
Like Tantiss isn't the Goal. It's the obstacle to the goal of reunion. Killing a bunch of them but destroying Tantiss doesn't hit the same as say, Rogue One, because in Rogue One damaging the Empire WAS the goal. So it's much harder to swing a "We made sacrifices but victory was worth it" ending, if that makes sense. Because losing any of the batch is inherently failing the central goal.

So the main thing that's kept me thinking that we'll see them all come out alive is a few different things:
We've never seen them all together and really on the same side. Since I'm like 99% sure CX-2 is Tech, I think this is still on the table and if we get that then I don't think they're tearing them apart again immediately after.
Omega's character development. Seasons one and two ended with her seeing someone sacrifice themselves for her and her not being able to save them - first AZI, who had to be saved by Crosshair, then Tech who the jury's still out on. I think having it happen a third time would both make her double down on the idea that she's the one putting everyone in danger (because they came to save her) and miss out on the opportunity to show her growth by having her save someone instead of losing them.
One of the big themes of the show has been victory through unifying and coming together. There's like three different season 2 episodes that hammer this in. The batch has never had a big one but they've also never been unified. But, bring in Tech who they thought they'd lost, make them whole? I think they'd absolutely sweep.
So it is possible that we'll see someone die and will get some tragedy mixed in. But I think that what works best with what we've seen in the show thematically is their first unambiguous victory because for the first time in 3 seasons, they're together. We see Omega come into her own, get the boys at their best, no secrets and no bad blood left, and just let them absolutely wreck Hemlock's entire life. With the opposite I wouldn't be quite so sure what the show is actually meant to be saying other than "the Empire is bad and being a clone sucks"

For me though I think that TBB has like maxed out its angst level. They have never won anything major, ever, it is 100% of the time them losing. Every finale they lose something, the mid-seasons they lose something, their victories are one offs, they've never once in the whole show been together as a set of six and fully on the same page.
So if we get a sad or Tragic ending and never see all six together again it will seriously just feel like "Oh my fucking God, again?" and then I'll immediately ignore it. So I can't connect with the panic because my entire reaction to that is "well I think that's stupid" because it would literally mean the best it ever got was uh *checks notes* that brief moment they're all fighting together in Return to Kamino.
Like it's not that I think I'm 100% guaranteed to be right I just think there's nothing inherently interesting about Sad Endings especially when you've had no big moments of victory to compare them to. Tragedy can work great! But you need something to offset it earlier in the story or you're just on some sort of relentless slog of bad things while insisting that it's deep because Suffering or whatever.
Anyway I still think that given the themes through season 2, the key to the Batch's win will be truly uniting for the first time in the show to finally grab what they've been struggling for and make everything they've been through Mean Something.

Everything about CX-2 is so much funnier if he's Tech.
Blows up his own ship.
Gets blown up twice in two back to back episodes.
Is hated by Wolffe after speaking 3 entire words.
Tripped over what was probably his own security measure in Phee's ship.
Broke what was also probably his own encryption on Phee's logs.
Corrects everyone any time he can.
Does not do literally a single thing anyone tells him to:
'prepare for the extraction team' proceeds to get the temple blown up
'I'm in charge now' ignores Wolffe completely and goes off after them
'Set blasters to stun' shoots down the leech ship they're on, ignores Wolffe and runs off AGAIN
'bringing in the girl is the objective' decides to go after Crosshair to the detriment of the mission
'if they get in the way eliminate them' shoots down a TK trooper piloting a ship rather than shooting Hunter
(Who is surprised Hemlock didn't send him out after Omega and only sent him out after CX-1 because he was the last, CX, left. He can't be relied on to do a single thing he's told.)

Rating: Explicit
Relationship: Echo/Rex/Fives

This was his duty as commanding officer, technically. The Kaminoans turned shines out of training with a blaster and not much else. Making them into men that could function out of battle as well as they did in it was just part of being captain. Rex hadn’t ever shied away from the role before and he didn’t plan to start now.
That didn’t make it any easier to be approached cold with a request for an off-the-books sex lecture though. All before he’d even managed to grab a morning cup of caf, too.
Exchange fic anon period has lifted so I get to share now 👀

sorry but i simply cannot take anyone seriously with this argument. being horny is not a crime. acting inappropriately toward another person is a different thing from simply perceiving them in a way that scratches your brain. but you cannot make sexual thought crimes (thot crimes) a thing without it leading down an EXTREMELY homophobic, transphobic path of "the WRONG type of person PERCEIVED ME and I DID NOT CONSENT TO IT." sometimes you will be perceived by people you personally are not attracted to, and i'm sorry, but that alone is not a problem. you do not need consent to find another person attractive. being horny is fine, actually. get over it.
