A list of Disney villain origin story movies I want in no particular order:
monstro the whale but it’s just a two hour nature documentary narrated by daniel radcliffe
the hunter from bambi going to the gun store and waiting the appropriate time to get his gun and hunting license
a one hour and seventeen minute static shot of the of the spindle on the spinning wheel from sleeping beauty (yes this is the exact run time of sleeping beauty i looked it up)
the apple from snow white but it’s actually a spin off of the good place where the guy who owns the apple orchard gets the bad place points to prove how flawed the system is
mor’du from brave but it’s just another nature documentary. this one is narrated by david tennant because scotland
captain hook being totally justified in a quest for revenge because peter cut his FREAKING HAND OFF
chernabog rising from the rank of lowly vengeance demon to king of bald mountain: this is a buddy cop movie with anya from buffy
mother gothel being denied for cosmetic surgery because it’s not covered by her hmo
a meteorologist from arendelle absolutely shitting themselves (opportunities for more movies here disney. call me)
iago from aladdin but you guessed it another nature documentary. narrated by gilbert gottfried
Response for when the far-right pick a fight by spewing ignorant divisive bollocks, then claim that they're being 'bullied', or 'cancelled', or 'oppressed' or 'silenced' when other people argue back or criticise them for said bollocks.
Andy and I would talk about that a little bit, you make jokes and sometimes your comedy is a nice way of putting a boundary up between you and other people, but also, a boundary within yourself of having to experience any sort of emotion or desire and things like that. And I think that’s something Richie does, where this truth bomb thing is actually usually a mask for someone who’s, I think, an idealist and a romantic.
And I think there’s a part of the sadness, spoiler alert, but the sadness towards the end of it is very much about all the things that went unsaid and all the things that were … not just in some sort of a sexual way, but it wasn’t consummated in any sort of emotional way, or any way. You just don’t let someone know what they mean to you, and that, that’s the kind of tragedy of that story, which I thought was really powerful.
If Hugh Jackman can deadlift 405 pounds, he shouldn’t have settled merely for Marius. He could’ve picked up Enjolras as well. You know what, add Eponine. Street gamines can’t possibly weigh that much. Man let’s just add the whole of Les Amis (including Gavroche). It’s Hugh Jackman. He can take it.
I think what most posts are missing about Destiel is that it’s not “A queer character confesses his love and then goes straight to hell,” it’s that “The queer character announces that his true happiness is being in love with the straight character who will never love him back, whom he’s pined after for years while sacrificing everything and being treated terribly. Even as he’s about to die, the queer character tells the straight character how he’s the best person in the world, and that he’s blissfully grateful to die for the rare scraps of comarederie the straight character threw his way. Meanwhile the straight character is dissociating thinking about college football and trying not to hate crime, and THEN the queer character goes to mega hell, which he accepts as the best fate he could hope for.” Now THAT is the essence of Destiel and THAT is the rep we’ve been waiting for.
