I find that this photo helps to demonstrate a physical view of the different communities as well as intersectionality. Each person has their own color for their group; however nobody's colors overlap. For instance, the same gendered pairs don’t also have colors that match because they have something else that makes them different from one another.

Recognizing Communities and Intersectionality
There is something to be said of online communities. Whether we notice or not, there are many different communities and subcommunities living and thriving under the umbrellas of multiple social media platforms. Twitter has communities that are rather recognizable to some such as “Black Twitter.” However, there are still people out there who have no idea that these communities exist. Those who could easily connect with those in the communities could be missing out on some amazing online friendships simply because they are unaware of the situation, and that would be an absolute shame. On the other hand, we have the concept of intersectionality that is playing a role in the users ability to join these online communities. Intersectionality creates the situations where a man can’t be a part of “Femenist Twitter” because he is a man and can’t also be a feminist or the woman with one white parent and one black parent isn’t “black enough” to be a part of “Black Twitter.” The first half of the battle with these online communities is recognizing that they exist, but then as participants, we need to remember that people can be a part of multiple groups. So intersectionality doesn’t have to run our communities.
