Happy pride month and I really hope you will have a wonderful month and celebrate it if you have an opportunity!

You HAVE TO celebrate it honestly, because I can’t (and millions of people too). It’s actually criminal offence to show any LGBT symbols or same sex affection in Russia. And there are many cases of people getting huge fines for it and jail time (some people were mysteriously killed during investigation, what a coincidence right?). Police periodically make raids on bars that are suspected to be queer (no official queer bars here anymore of course). And every time I post my art on internet I risk my freedom.

For trans people it’s even worse. A 2023 law bans all gender-affirming care, including hormone therapy and surgeries, leaving trans people without access to essential medical support . Legal gender recognition is nearly impossible due to restrictive regulations, resulting in widespread discrimination and misgendering in daily life. The expanded 2022 “gay propaganda” law prohibits any public expression or positive depiction of transgender identities, with violations leading to fines or imprisonment.

So yes it’s getting more depressing and depressing here. Sorry for being so depressing! My point is if you have chance - CELEBRATE IT!!!! for people who can’t 🥲🥲🥲🥲

As for me I just love drawing queer arts because it’s only way express my queerness I can afford (with risk but yolo lol ). So I hope to draw as many queer arts as I can 😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈
