Now that Tumblr is dead for NSFW it leaves some artists wondering where to go. Unfortunately, the convenience that Tumblr offered was pretty unique, with its gallery based community, and it might be a while before it's replicated.

Right now my personal recommendation is Twitter + Newgrounds!

Twitter is easy to use, allows for easy communication with your favorite artists and as a content creator allows you to let your followers know what you are up to. The NSFW artist community is pretty active too.

[A big concern for some people seems to be that they do not want to mix their personal Twitter account with their NSFW interests. You should definitely make a secondary account and just swap between them on your phone or whatever device you use without problem. It is a feature Twitter has.]

[Another mechanic some people seem to be hesitant on missing is the ability to get ASKS in their inbox. On twitter you can use external applications to expand it's use, and it just so happens that CURIOUSCAT.ME blends very well as a substitute for that.]

Newgrounds, while clunky and super oldschool, is an art oriented community [that allows NSFW]. However the biggest utility of it is allowing you to have a static gallery where to post your art where people can comment on the piece itself.

[You can also post art on Twitter, but there's no dedicated gallery to look for past pieces and your followers might need to scroll through memes and retweets to get to what they want.]

[Some people also prefer Pixiv, but any gallery site that allows your content works! You just use Twitter as a connecting hub between you and your followers.]

The best way, after-tumblr, to share your art IMO is to:

Post Artwork to Gallery Site [In my case, Newgrounds]

Post link to Artwork on Twitter 

Engage with followers casually on Twitter.

Review comments on Newgrounds every now and then.

(Currently I’m stuck on Hotels, so for fun I decided to rewrite a bit of the Marceline x Finn story I owe y’all, but in regular prose, mostly because doodling led nowhere and I cleaned up this pic)  [LONG POST]

A shirtless Finn stumbles into the bedroom while Marceline guides him.

“Ugh.” He held his head between his hands to calm the dizziness.

Marceline carefully motions him to drop on the bed.

“How you holding up?” She asks, while Finn sits on the edge.

Finn squints trying to look at Marceline but stares past her.

“I'm fine, really.” And as he talks, his headache makes him close his eyes again.

He rubs his temples. “Ow.”

“You really should lie down and rest.” She pushes him down onto the bed.

Finn turns his back towards Marceline “Thanks Mar-Mar.”

She blinks.

“Mar-Mar?” She raises an eyebrow in confusion as she finishes fixing Finn’s pillow. “Don’t call me weird stuff, ok?”

But Finn just snores. Marceline shakes her head and floats out of the room, back downstairs. 

On the couch she spots Finn’s shoulder bag and the flask of Dragon Blood that got Finn sick.

She grabs it and shakes it around so the liquid inside sloshes around.

“Man, Finn, where did you get this.”

The red booze fizzes as she opens the flask and takes a sip. Her entire body arches back as she lets out a loud gasp, making her spin mid air.

“Ooof!” She exclaims as she closes the flask down. Her face flushed.

“How did you not die Finn! This stuff is strong enough for me to feel the buzz!”

She shakes her head rapidly to recover and closes the flask.

Finn continues snoring as she passes over him to the bathroom. 

She stands in front of the mirror even if she can’t see her reflection, then washes her face a couple of times, but the blushing won’t stop.

She returns to the bedroom, looks through a couple of drawers until she finds a short-sleeved black shirt and quickly slips out of her dress.

Marceline fans her face with her hand to fight the heat of the drink.

Suddenly a loud snore fills the room.

She covers her chest as she turns back to Finn who has rolled around a couple of times and is now face up on the bed.

She relaxes and puts the shirt on.

“Heh heh…” she whispers as she floats over to Finn to check on him. 

His eyes are closed, he is sweating a lot and apparently in extremely deep sleep.

Marceline eyes him over making sure he’s alright, but soon enough she notices something more.

Finn’s dick is bulging in his pants. He shifts around and snores some more.

Marceline’s gaze lingers on his bulge. She notices it pulse and recoils from it.

She looks at Finn to make sure he’s asleep, then floats closer to him.

Marceline’s breathing gets faster as she backs away, but Finn keeps sleeping.

With her hand on her chest she sighs with relief.

She reaches down for Finn's pants to try and pull them back on but she’s not even started when she is entranced again.

She notices a drop of fluid coming out of the tip.

Marceline can't help herself as she pokes it again with her finger.

She looks at the liquid as she rubs it between her fingertips.

She gulps.

Finn keeps sleeping as Marceline puts her face up close to his dick.

With the tip at eye level, Marceline focuses on the liquid drops forming on it.

One last glance to make sure Finn is sleeping before she sticks her tongue out.

So @lil-area-nsfw made a comic called Next Summer, and in it there are some letters scattered across some pages. I haven’t been able to make sense of the code or something and I’d like to see what it says, so I’m sharing what I have, but I am unsure if I’m still missing some letters hidden in other pages.

I’m seeing a few draw friends from the ancient AT Drawthreads on 4chan posting a goodbye to the show on their blogs or twitter. Makes me nostalgic, you guys were amazing back then. Lot’s of fun content from which I still draw inspiration today.

I did a couple of pics but I was never good enough to leave a mark. Still it was really fun seeing you guys come up with the D&D AU thing, all the fun crossover fan art that was done, I might have never been recognized but it was endearing seeing many of you bond and have fun with the requests.
