FINAL IMAGE-
I wanted to go for something creative and bold- taking inspiration from the Confetti Crowd, and of course from Bowie. I decided that graphics would be a big part of this image, as then you really have no limits. I really like this outcome as it’s fun, quirky and unusual- everything I wanted it to be.

Think I might do my editing on my photo shoot like this, it's fun, colourful and exactly what I'm going for

EMBROIDERING
I decided to sew on my little embellishments myself and for that I chose a thick pink thread- so that it was visible, and contrasting to the red.

ELASTIC
I have used elastic on the top and bottom of my leg warmer, to make it fit better and stay on the leg as opposed to falling down all the time. I used a black elastic and sewed it to the base and top base of my leg warmer, flipped it around to the inside of the leg warmer and the sewed around the outside making sure that I encased the elastic in the excess fabric.

FABRIC
The fabric that I am going to be using is a fleece fabric, preferably in pink I think, as I want to colours to contrast on my leg warmer. The other fabrics that I will use for the embellishment will be felt. As it’s a sturdy fabric it will be easier to cut or laser cut.

PHOTO INSPO- I really like the bright coloured background’s in these photos, and think I should apply this bright colour to my photoshoot as well. I feel like this would be taking so much inspo from the Confetti Crowd and would help make my garment look cool.

These are some Bowie lightening bolt inspired leg warmers, maybe I could laser cut the bolts out of fabric?
