Many people have turned away from Palestine and Gaza. Two years of genocide is, apparently, boring. The people in Gaza don’t have the luxury to turn away — this is their life and their reality.

I stay apprised through friends in Gaza and news sources. As such, I’m aware of the fact that the Nasser Medical Complex was bombed. Six journalists died — Hussam al-Masri, Mohammad Salama, Mariam Abu Daqqa, Ahmed Abu Aziz and Moaz Abu Taha.

Journalists have one of the most important — and most dangerous — jobs in Palestine. They give so many people information on the genocide on the ground. To see so many of them murdered by Israel is heartbreaking. But as heartbroken as I am, I’m also terrified — for my friends in Gaza.

One of these friends is my dear friend Ibrahim. He is 15 years old, with two sick parents, and he’s constantly battling famine, sickness, thirst, and threat of death to try and survive. He should be in school. He should be with his friends. He should be relaxing at home. But his school, his friends, and his home — all of them have been taken from him by Israel. On behalf of my friend Ahmed @ahmad-ziyad, I write to you with a heavy heart. Ahmed is a young man from Gaza who graduated in Computer Engineering. His dream was to open a training center to support graduates and help them build a future. But the war destroyed everything. Today, instead of chasing his dreams, Ahmed struggles to provide food for his family and medicine for his mother.

His mother recently underwent surgery and urgently needs further treatment abroad. I spoke with Ahmed yesterday, and since then, I haven’t been able to sleep. I saw the fear, the hunger, and the unbearable suffering they live through every day. I cried, asking myself how any human being can endure so much pain.

I promised Ahmed that I would do everything I can to support his campaign and help him reach his goal. Ahmed and his family are in desperate need of us all.

I just discovered two of the people on the campaign I created were murdered. One of them was a child.

samah @ammar-family24 was neighbours with an elderly man who was kind enough to provide her with transport in his car and share food that he bought with her and her baby, without asking for anything at all in return

unfortunately, this man was martyred just a few days ago and samah is now without anyone who is willing to help her with this

this is a big problem as ammar requires 4 cartons of milk and 1 pack of diapers per week. one carton of milk now costs $110 $150 in gaza, and 1 pack of diapers costs $170

this means altogether, ammar would need $610 $770 per week for these daily needs

this sounds like a relatively manageable amount, but unfortunately all merchants currently take all of payments in physical cash, and the people who change paypal money into physical cash demand a 48% 55% fee

between this, a 25% 30% paypal fee, and a 5% ko-fi fee, the end amount we end up needing to send to samah is $1623 $2079 $2401 $2577 instead. please do what you can to help keep ammar fed as well

Quick doodle during break of braun! Hard to get the stylish outfit to look stylish, but I'm glad I was able to jot something down |＾▽＾)ノ

Notes about what I had in mind below the cut~

I imagine braun to have absolutely no skin showing, making the collar of his shirt sort of act in place of a neck, and there never being a gap between his gloves and sleeves. It adds to the mystery of if he even has skin, yknow? :3c

With his gloves specifically, I thought they would replicate the "cartoon gloves" look, given that he's an American TV show host from the 70s and is all about the entertainment world it felt like it suited him.

I used these pictures as reference/inspo for his head, although I imagined a more specific look with rounded corners and lighter colors involved like beige and cream, but not entirely removing brown from being the main color

For his plush "good friend" body, I always thought of it fashioned after Mori Chack's style, like Gloomy the Bear

Making the plush a bit floppy, and it was easy to see as merchandise like a cute keychain. Bonus point for combining cute and creepy d=(^o^)=b

Lastly, for his outfit, I really liked this one that the guy on the left from what @milkbreadtoast posted is wearing and could see braun wearing it

(In addition, but not drawn, I imagine him to be a towering figure on the regular since iirc Kim soleum already has a decent height to him, but needed to fully extend his arm upwards in order to reach the bottom of braun's TV head... yeah. That's a big dude.)

That's basically it for what I put together ! Maybe one day I will have enough free time and energy to give this guy some proper art (ToT) but I doubt that's any time soon
