Hello!

I have removed my English fan translations of the TGCF Extras (chapters 245 to 251) as the English version of the novel has been officially licensed.

From hence, any circulation of the aforesaid translations are not authorised by me.

Hi erushi! First of all, I would like to thank for your hard work translated the extra chapters! I have fun reading it. So, I have a question about tgcf, and I was wondering if they stated what is the verbal password of Hua cheng in the novel? I was curious about it lol😂

Hi! To my recollection, the password was never revealed! Although I like to imagine that it’s something really cheeky and embarrassing, like “San-lang is my husband!!!11!”

So sorry about the relative silence here. I’ve been pretty busy irl, and as a result, I wasn’t really checking my Tumblr.

Yes, it does! It has a happy ending! 

Trust me, I skipped to the end of book 5, when I was still in book 1, to assure myself. Haha.

Hey! I just read ur tgcf chapter 250 translation. Thank you for ur hard work! I wanted to ask is there any chapter in the novel where they actually do the do? The translation isn't yet complete so I was just curious... :p

Nothing explicit! Although if you read between the lines for the chapter when Mt TongLu opened (I can’t remember it), and some of the extras, there are references to them doing it. :D Their “first time”, according to the author, takes place between the second last and last chapters of book 5, but it’s not written out in available copy.

Hello! Sakhyu Translations has detailed translations up to chapter 20ish, and Twitter user Suika is doing rough translations of all the chapters (currently in the 170s). Hope that helps!

Aaahhh do you mean the English translations? I don’t think there are any beyond there yet, as of now.

Hello!Thank you for translating the TGCF extras.I have a question about Qi Rong, I've recently seen a video of him and finally he says "who is my partner? ... would Gu Zhi be?" that intrigues me,and I've also seen fanarts of him with a child. Illuminate me please.

Hi anon! Without having watched the video in question, I’m afraid I don’t know what the reference to Qi Rong’s partner / Gu Zhi might be.

[spoilers] But in the novel, we know he has struck deals with a few people. There’s the ghost bride in the Junshan arc. Towards the end of book 1, you learn that he teamed up with a descendant from XianLe royalty to bring down the YongAn family. In book 3, he possesses a man, and spends the rest of book 3 and 5 pretty much inhabiting that man’s body / dragging the man’s child around. [/spoilers]

I imagine a reference to QR’s partner, could mean any of these? 

As for fanart of Qi Rong as a child, book 2 - which is about Xie Lian’s past - also features Qi Rong as a child. Best I can describe it, he’s Xie Lian’s younger, spoiled, bratty, possibly sociopathic (insert nature vs nurture debate) cousin. That might the source of inspiration for the fanart in question.

Free! Dive to the Future ED Theatre Location

When I watched the #Free_DF ending, I recognised the setting immediately as the Esplanade Concert Hall. So @erushi and I bought tickets to gain access to the foyer.

EVEN THE CARPET IS THE SAME OMFG

We think the animators played with the proportions a bit because we couldn’t line things up properly. But I was super impressed that they left the trashcan in.

The light tracks on the ceiling were different, but the animators kept the texture of the ceiling in. Seriously guys, I was having a SERIOUS moment. This performance venue holds so many memories for me and now it’s in one of my favourite animes

In conclusion: I love Sousuke and I LOVE FREE!
