Here’s something else I’ve been curious about.
This quiz is about novels only. Or, if you will, works of fiction that tell a story and that you are typically expected to start, read till you reach the end, and then finish once you do so.
Reference books (e.g.) are not typically meant to be read cover to cover. This poll is not about them.
By “read” I mean “reading from cover to cover like it was your first time reading it”. Flipping through a book you like is Good and Cool but not within the scope of this poll.
#yes if enough time has passed bc i want to know if i still like it or if i like it now or if i understand it better etc#books

Theo, 30
“I’m wearing a ruched, airbrushed and screen printed top by Paalworld made in Brooklyn and a skirt I thrifted from Granru Vintage in Flatbush, BK that I reworked. My shoes are XT-6 Salomon’s and socks from the dollar store. My inspirations kind of change all the time but since living in NYC I’m seeing my style shift in a way where I’m encouraged to be more playful. Right now I love to blend feminine and masculine clothing together and enjoy mixing textures with second hand garments to make a fun and comfortable outfit. Comfort makes me feel confident and buying local.“

I really and genuinely hate how much the narrative of "men are naturally stronger than women so we need different categories" is so dominant as to be baseline accepted by everyone instead of "men are socialized into valuing and developing strength and continually given opportunities to engage in high level athletic activity against quality opponents at young ages" and "the sports we value the highest as physical feats and dominance are ones men possess slight natural edges in biologically while sports that would favor women slightly are devalued"
