vague surprise tingles on the child’s tongue at the older’s somewhat…familiar words… though it is unable to properly reflect in the flat of polished-button eyes. mob simply tilts his head slightly to the side to hint at his curiosity rather than try to express it with more energy than necessary. choppy bangs shift like inky water across the pale plane of his forehead.
“you sound like master.” he points out matter-of-factly in a crystal clear-glass monotone, blinking owlishly as he mulls it over an idle few heartbeats. perhaps this person knew him?
