Volkner had stopped his movements completely, almost bowing his head slightly out of respect for the noticeably sleepy girl. In retrospect, he should have asked someone if there might be anybody that would be disturbed by his work, but it was too late now. He tried to remain as polite as possible, knowing he’d definitely be in the wrong here.

Aren’t you ?❞  remembering such an embarrassing time in her life was humiliating, but there was some relief in her to see that someone from her home region besides Cynthia. they were rare, like no one found replacements for them, thus preventing them from ever taking a break.
