Facebook, Twitter, Instagram are the common social media I use. These apps helps me to communicate to my friends, relatives, and specially with my love ones. My favorite social media is twitter because I always express my feelings there. It allows me to share and show my thoughts by only tweeting it. And my second favorite is facebook because I can upload photos as many as I can, and like in twitter I can also share my thoughts. Facebook and twitter has been part of my life because in everyday I use them by communicating to my friends. In 4 years of using twitter I have 28,0000 tweets in my twitter account. And also in facebook I’ve been using this since 2013.
Social media influence me a lot by easily talk to my family when going somewhere not like in old times they use penpal to communicate. And when in comes to education it can be easy to communicate to your classmates. For example when we have to pass our assignment we can easily just send to gmail or in messenger. For me the use of this social media is to easily communicate and to share your ideas to everyone.
Social media has a positive influence but also has a negative consequences. The negative is some people spend more money to load their sim to use their social media rather than buying their food or things that are needed and one more things is they been addicted using social media they can’t control there self to use it. That allows them to have a low self-esteem issues people have found they feel more lonely as a result of social media. They tend to have a harder time interacting with people in the real world. They can communicate in online with easily chat them, but not in face to face communication they having a hard time to communicate in personal. Face to face communication is more important than communication in social media.
Positive impact of social media for me is the common answer of everyone we can easily communicate to everyone to our friends, relatives etc… and one more is to know what is happening in everyday like in news we can see alot of news in facebook but the negative there is some of the news are fake, people easily trust the news. If you understand and use the social media properly you can have more positive in social media.
Me as a user of media and information I can rate my self 8/10, because media and information literacy is designed for us students to understand the concepts of media and information and how to use them effectively communicate and access information. and this information helps me to think critical by my knowledge of this media one of my skils that develop is being responsible users of different forms of media. And enhance me as a student to know technology literacy so that in the future I can use it. My dream is to pass the information technology (IT) I know this subject helps me a lot to know more about technology.
