Happy Birthday Essie Davis ! Our favourite Aussie has brought us a lot of joy and entertainment over the years, with her unmistakable laugh, her gorgeous red carpet looks and the numerous fascinating characters she’s portrayed.

So as you know, to mark the occasion and help with bushfire relief, we set up a fundraiser for the CFA (Country Fire Authority). And thanks to you all, this birthday fundraiser was a success ! Our original goal of $500 was smashed in just a few hours, so we decided to extend the goal to $700 and you guys came through ! Thanks so much to everyone who has donated or spread the word. This wouldn’t have been possible without you ! Funds raised in this campaign will go directly to CFA, who are working hard to protect the Victoria area and those affected by the fires. It felt important to us to support those who are fighting for people, places, and the wildlife.

Victoria is also where Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries and True History of the Kelly Gang were filmed, so this felt especially apt to us.
