saying this as someone who realized recently i miss people's art on the regular even if they posted it only 4hs ago UNLESS THEY REBLOG IT FREQUENTLY.......................pls reblog your own shit more than once, i'm missing out on good food. no more self-rb shame in this fast-paced world for creatives out there

There's a phenomenon I've noticed in fandom I'm going to call "Canon is mean to my blorbo" wherein fans of ongoing or serial media become really attached to one or a group of characters and build up in their minds an idea of how their story is going to go, but when the story doesn't end up going in that direction, regardless of how well the direction it actually takes was built up along the way, these fans will insist it was done out of malice or disregard towards their faves, rather than simply being a logical continuation or addition to the story that simply wasn't how they would have liked it to go.

this is mostly pronounced amongst teens and young adults but it’s so funny to me when I see discourse that’s like “what does a 26 year old and a 32 year old have in common????” acting like somehow 6 years is a massive generational gap… girl not only is that the same generation but it’s also literally nothing once you’re both fully grown adults

People who say “oh but with uniforms you don’t have to worry about kids bullying each other over clothes” are psyops to me there’s no way people genuinely believe that uniforms do anything to curb bullying
