Anyway- This was the result of a friend & I headcanoning some stuff concerning how our OCs woulda looked like years ago in Vinyl City, so it led to me deciding to draw out Ishtar's past self & what they woulda been wearing! I also added a few minor notes on the first image on what woulda changed which... Not much honestly, BUT still. & ...As we can see, they cannot dress casually for shit as this is meant to be "more casual" for them /lh I stated this is about... close to 5 ish years ago since that's close sorta to timeframe that we were headcanoning for stuff? At least this applies to rp verse stuff for sure too, but... I'll elaborate one day what this is for in writing/posts s it deals w their backstory.

Not seen also is the fact that they got a lower back marking/tattoo (?) in present day self vs their past self. Of which they are reasons BUT regardless!

I'm still keeping the outfit for their present day self too to use (...we'll just say they got a newer version lmao) so yeah.

Also... for one of the little things that changed from then til now, up close: past self vs present day self, that I mentioned in the notes

Zion | full name Zion Genesis Aratiri

A robot musician originated from Catemaco, Mexico, whose primary genre specialization is Synthwave, yet is rather versatile in his general exploration of different music genres. Never originally built for the purpose of entering the music industry, his journey has entailed forging his own identity & person outside of his own programming, & breaking away from what his creator wanted/anticipated of him in order to attain the position he's landed in now, liberated from expectations once held over him. Despite opposition, he's remained unapologetic in embracing who he is, embarking the journey of self exploration with music & fashion being the primary avenues through which he expresses himself as a whole. Refusing to be pigeon holed into something he isn't, refusing to let anyone "dim his shine to make them comfortable"--its a path he's welcomed, but one that has certainly come with its own difficulties along the way.

Thought I'd post the second star of the show oc who has a vice grip on me also lately (NSR verse is the focus right now but still) LOL even if this art is from. 2022. Both performance gear edition & also an alt outfit too! I still need a more casual fit for him however... Also, he canonically is the character who probably designs outfits for Ishtar & probs a few other OCs lmao He & my char Ishtar are both very close knit ✨

Ishtar | Full name Nyx-Ishtar Celis

An alien musician raised from Catemaco, Mexico whose primary genre out of the ones they explore is trance/psytrance. Combining their interests in the occult & music would bring about a unique flair to their own sound they’d create, & they’ve come a long way throughout the years as a musician from back in Mexico all the way to their status now as a charter in Vinyl City. Amidst everything, they've risen above the several hardships & circumstances they were dealt to attain where they are now… Albeit such a journey has unfortunately made them distrusting of most. Despite the generally lighthearted & at times flirty disposition they uphold to those who don’t know them well, there's another side to them that’s much more personal, a more passionate & emotional side that only those who get to know them start to really see

Figured I'd repost this here to kick off this blog, but! Ref of my OC/NSR Sona Ishtar, performance gear edition o/ Main reason they have a more... "regular" skin tone for human form is because I wanted that, when they shift to their actual/alien form, that the shift stands out, so! W/ their last form it'd be moreso akin to a blacklight-esque effect for them Also, they're very close knit with my OC Zion ✨

We'll ignore the fact that I'm planning to revamp this ref soon cause I feel it could be better </3 & also additional features for alien self altho it'd be one feature that can appear/disappear at will, will see

Also, a little bonus comparison of them with & without glasses LOL (as they alternate between contacts & glasses both)

A while back my friend @breadbox-draws & I had my OC Ishtar & their OC KK both decide to come up with a duo name together, with them planning to collab, so I figured, why not make logo text to go with their duo name? Thus, this is the result (the 3 white ones are like diff alts of each other as one is plain white w/ glow, the other w/o, & the other has ig similar texturing to the colored one)

We’d also decided that our headcanon for what their collab album would sound like would be the album Crystallized by Camellia (spotify link here) so o/ ✨

What do you think Ishtar Celis's approach theme and area would be like in No Straight Roads?

(Small sidenote as of April 6, 2024- I went back & edited some of my answers on this bc I wanted to update links & also include some other stuff so)

Oh! I actually have a few songs I’d picked out as personal headcanons for their approach & vs. theme! :0c

Approach theme, I figured my hc for that would be Release by Nhato!

As for vs. theme(s) I've speculated on though... The main one I've always had for them would be Clouds by Jilax? I've speculated on possible "alt" themes for them for say, maybe if they had themes for their diff phases of their fights change but would have to sit on that for a bit (tho I do have. ideas.)

That's what I envision for them at least! & like, if you want a gist of what the music they make under their main genre is like, here's a sort of hc playlist of that :0c There's a few songs tossed in that would probs be closer to what I feel for their secondary genre, because like... I hc they specialize in trance primarily (any subgenre of it), but they have a secondary they specialize in as well! (Though I'm still workin out the ins & outs of that cause. <- indecisive as hell)

As for their area... if you mean what their district would be like, I actually have a whole document I typed out on that, right over here ! (I had to put it in a doc because it is,,, lengthy,,, but it's what i've conceptualized for their district at least!) I would probs need to one day illustrate some of it hopefully??? But I at least got it out in writing what I sort of visualize for their place LOL

So, Just like I mentioned Ishtar having a theme song for their district, this song is the headcanon I have for the song that'd play out in Zion's district- that being the Neon Eden District ⚡ Basically the little theme for when you're in his district, right before jumping into going out of your way to hijack his concert lmao

Ishtar's would be here, meanwhile!
