yes, roman bit peter’s neck out of ‘anger’- but it was a desire he had long suppressed. way before anything happened between them. to taste peter’s blood on his tongue, pierce through his skin. feel closer to him, consume a part of him.

there were grudges being held. a bittersweet feeling lingered between the two- but there was never any actual hate between them. roman would have taken any excuse to bite peter in the past. but before all the bad blood between them, roman always decided not to- as he’d never want to hurt peter.

and no, you cannot tell me peter did not enjoy this. eyes closed, lips parted, it’s like he’s barely trying to stop him. roman gently holding peter’s face in his hands, forcing peter to look him in the eyes.

it almost feels more intimate than anything else.

roman wouldn’t let anyone get to him except peter. he was the only one who could turn the cold-blooded upir into a little boy shedding tears on his mother’s attic floor- desperately yearning for his best friend’s return.

they have the kind of love that’s immortal, a soulmate bond, even though their upir and werewolf nature intended them not to be.

all it took was one note being passed during class. ‘can i watch?’ no context, no nothing. somehow they both knew- roman knew it was okay to ask, peter knew it was okay to show him.

and there they were, two complete strangers from completely different backgrounds. one watching the other strip down all of his most vulnerable layers, accompanied by the full moon looking down on them.

thinking about post season 1, ever since peter left, roman had this longing whenever he looked at the sky and found the moon there, full moon or not, he would have this sick need to throw up because the sight of him reminds him of peter. something something peter as the moon. roman’s moon. and he didn’t pray. he was never been one to pray but at this particular moment, he would… a whisper of plea and “come back, please,” that would always be met with silence and disappointment as he went back inside.

THIS! i love both of them equally- but man, do not get me started on peter. so charming, so sexy, all without even trying. the way he carries himself is very attractive, the messy hair and fashion just adds to that even more.

I'm re-watching Hemlock Grove and -- I carried this belief from the first time I watched it -- I don't understand why Peter wasn't thirsted over as much as Roman. I mean, I know he has the big ol' height thing mostly, and the rich, momma's upir boy thing going for him.

BUT Peter was so much cooler??

Roman, to me, is never a man. He's a boy. Deep inside, it's just solely a broken, little boy. I care about his character in a way that I would with a child character, in that sense. It might be a matter of uncanny valley stuff with me, because I've been told I look a lot like Bill Skarsgard, but that's the way I feel nonetheless. Lmao.

Peter is and has always been wise and just... an effortlessly sexy, cool guy. I can't pinpoint what it is. The unruliness of his hair and his style? The pretty eyes? The way he smirks after Letha wakes up from her sex dream about him? How he managed to make Roman follow him around like a lost puppy in Season 1 and put him in his place? The way he would flatter Shelley? I don't know.
