Besides the phone call at the end were all the interactions between George and Logan part of the same alternate timeline or were they all separate from one another?

Ooh, hmm, I guess that's sort of reader's choice, maybe? To be honest, I was never quite sure if George was time traveling or visiting other dimensions or something else entirely. The mechanics of those possibilities all leave me with more questions than answers, so I opted to leave George without answers, too, haha

I love the thought of them all being the same alternate timeline, like two strings crossing over time and time again. But I also love the thought of Logan and George being so inevitable in this fic that they're all different timelines reiterating the same message

Not sure if that's a real answer or a cop out, but feel free to drop back by if you've got a preference or a reasoning to favor one over the other! I always love considering the possibilities 🫶

So the next guy, our last guy, is a local — — Local hero!  Floridian — — and a hero!  — and a genuine hero.  I mean yes, he just got back from F1, he did some time [inaudible], but beyond that, you know, this is the last American to win an international karting championship since Lake Speed in the sixties.  Way back, yeah. I mean, he was, what, winning in [inaudible]? I remember — I’m gonna date myself here for sure — but I used to manage a go kart track in North Palm Beach county in 2005 and he was there as a kid with his brother, running around. And they were fast then. He’s always been quick. Uhm, you know, Formula One’s a tough crowd out there. I think he did a great job representing, I have nothing but respect for this guy. And I’ve noticed that he’s gotten into these GT cars and he’s been quick in the GT cars! Yeah, and — it was really tough. One, he goes to F1. As you said, it’s just a —it’s a crazy atmosphere. Two, the Williams is not exactly…  It’s the worst car in the field! Yeah. And so you’re trying to figure out how to drive that, and everything. Uhm, but I think, you know, he had his rough moments but he also had a few where you can — he — he shone. He’s one of the twenty best drivers in the world. Yeah. Yeah. And remember that. That’s a — that’s a phenomenal achievement.

The banter between those two is amazing😂 and I’m so glad they got their happy ending! But did I see it’s part of a series now👀 does that mean you’ll be blessing us with more??

i've got (probably too many) fics in the works for them, some canon and some au, and thought it'd be good to make a series to keep them all in the same place, so technically, it's more an anthology than a series, but there might be a sequel to this one at some point!

there is a concerning number of george/logan fics in the works if i'm honest haha. they range from three lines sketching out a rough idea of the plot to thirty-four pages outlining character motivations, plot points, and key scenes

truly the brain worms have gotten the best of me here, so despite the fact that they weren't popular before and are sure to be even less popular going forward, i'm never not thinking about them and am always (unfortunately) adding new ideas to the collection

yes, it would be absolutely delightful to have the florida boys on the same team, but i also cannot even begin to describe the levels of funny it would be if logan took marcus' seat after marcus spread rumours about logan's last months at w*lliams
