heya lads it’s elex back at it with the new blogs. this time a multi muse for genshin and dragalia lost!! though really it’s just a ningguang blog cause just like in the game i can only main The Mean Wife who cursed my heart. i will be writing both canon characters from either media along with some genshin ocs cause i think there needs to be more of them with how lore rich gayshin is. if you’d be interested then please like and reblog this post!!

as much as it may come as a shock to those who heard her introduction, towa is indeed the first born daughter of the infamous daiyokai, sesshomaru. never one to shy from her parentage, she often states their relation in an almost passive manner. she is not as quick to release the fact she is a hanyo however. though she does not find shame in it, she is familiar with the fact people like her are looked down upon more than anything, past mistakes with not being as secretive of that info providing her with the hard slap of reality ‘gaint brash cheek.

as much as she’d like to believe herself to be mature for her age, she is only smart, but defines the meaning to be as reckless as a pup. unlike most who would try to stay under the radar try to find a peace between two sides that would sooner kill her, she stands at the forefront of an age old dilemma with a confidence that seems to almost run in the family. unlike her uncle who sought a means to become a full demon when he was her age though, she seeks simply to become as powerful as a full blooded demon. even swearing to become as powerful as her father one day, if not outright surpass him if fate allows such.

though towa can appear as a slightly friendlier variant of the lone wolf type quite common in her era, she actually sticks very close to her family. especially her sister, setsuna, and cousin, moroha, finding comfort in their shared fates of existing in two contrasting worlds. a promise to always protect and care for her sister is ever alive in her mind, and she’d have choice words for anyone who harmed her cousin as well. much of her extended family is treated with respect and kindness, extending even to those that her uncle and aunt fight alongside with. 

her father is of an odd case. no animosity exists between the two and she admires him almost like the sun as her sole parent, but there does exist a wall between the two at times. perhaps it lies in their contrasting attitudes or the unwarranted standards she feels she must meet for him to be truly proud of her. perhaps it simply a feeling all hanyo possess when it comes to their parents. either way, towa intends to have that rift be broken one day so she can feel as proud as she acts.

“of all the things i had to be awful at, why’d it have to be this?” she knew more magic based forms of combat were not easy to learn and practice by any means, but wind magic certainly seemed to take to first place. first place in hurting, anyways. one second of a slightly off motion and voila, blood trickling down her hand. one could be forgiven in thinking towa’s hand had been gnawed on by some beast, but no, it had merely been the wind. the cuts were so fine she couldn’t even feel them. “ah, this is so lame.” perhaps she’d been a bit too ambitious in trying to learn what kagura had been born to control, the wind was her’s and she the wind’s, after all.

update about this blog. i think i may stop watching yashahime for the time being. i may watch it more at a slow pace or do what i normally do and binge watch it once a season is over. there’s just still a lot that makes my head spin and i’d rather not have to cause any massive changes to my interpretation of towa cause of any info or the like. i plan to put up a post with info on my au verse for her either tonight or tomorrow so i can better utilize it.

“for the supposed ‘prince’ of the wolves you sure do....not look like what i had in mind.” who knows what it was she had in mind, but it was fairly obvious what she found was not what she had envisioned. tales told over and over of anyone were bound to shift and contain different details, the ones told of even the leader of the wolves not exempt. and, really, towa should’ve known better than to expect anyone to even be near the definition of regal power her father personified. her uncle and aunt were undoubtedly powerful, yet looked as plain as can be.

“i do wonder though. are the stories true? about you being some great leader of the wolves?”

“you are such a pain sometimes, father.” perhaps, in another universe, the rebellious hanyo would be more appreciative of a father ever watchful. so many after all lacked even that simple pleasure of knowing one was cared for by their parent, but for her it just proved tiresome. a bit annoying. as if he were saying he did not trust in her own ability to protect herself. it wasn’t a sif she were even in a dangerous area, she always stayed either within the territory sesshomaru lingered or the town in which her uncle, inuyahsa, lived. and to one such as herself, both seemed far too child proof for her tastes, a fire starving for the heat of hard fought battle never waning within.

“not to be mean to rin, but i’m not like my big sis. i can fight off any would be kidnappers or such ya know.”

“do you think you can ever trust me?” words are spoken with an uncharacteristic seriousness, lazy drawl absent in a voice made of solid steel, face fierce with a silent need to know. to say towa’s reunion with setsuna was far from what she could have ever anticipated was beyond truth. the reality of her situation causing a crack in once solid foundation, practically reducing it to ash. “i mean it as a friend, do you think you would, one day?”
