I agree with this completely!! I feel having a greater understanding on communication virtually will help us more and more as we advance in digital work environments due to our world going towards that next step. Overall, knowing how to write and process information through the internet is going to help us expand our careers to a global sense!
what do you like the most about your essay?
The best part of my essay is how I tied how this class will help me with my future career. As a communication major hoping to get a job in the field, I need to create content for an audience. I know the content we learned in this class is vital in our generation, as we practically live on the internet and technology is only improving. I like that I was able to do an essay reflecting on myself and my gains. I thought this was a fairly easy paper for me to write as the class was a content-building block learning new things on top of the other every week.

I think this is a nice way todo the writing process. Especially because it helps with stress I'm sure! Having things done early and completed in small chunks has to be better than cramming it all in the day before lol, I'm sure we've all been there!
What I like about my writing process
I like how I start my writing process early. I like to work at it in chunks rather than get it all done in one setting. I think this helps with how creativity flows to allow me to come up with new ideas or topics to talk about. I also think working in stages allows you to go back and reread with a fresh and open mind. This also helps with not being overwhelmed and stressed doing writing assignments last minute.

With my writing process, what am I proud of?
I feel that I'm most proud of my way of expanding now when it comes to my writing process. I felt that I did keep my wording and way of expressing my words very narrow and not as creative as I do now. I try to use my creativity I have in my work outside of writing WITHIN my writing and it has been an exponential improvement due to this class. I feel due to this class being a reminder to constantly re-evaluate and expand on ideas, I keep that in mind in every single post I do for this class and outside of this class as well. I can say my writing process has improved due to the process of this class and semester overall.

What do you like about your learning?
I found my learning throughout this class to be very helpful for my perspective on content and overall advertising. With doing the content analysis project, for example, I learned the most efficient way in promoting my content and I've seen a huge improvement in interaction and sells in my product. The brand I made has actually gained followers and purchases due to what I learned which is very neat to me honestly. So I feel I have to say thanks for the new insight on content and the ways to efficiently promote ones content for the best success imaginable!! Cheers!

What Is LEARNING????
Tumblr media
Learning is an ongoing process we all go through even at an old age. Learning is the way we keep out minds in my opinion, once you "learn all" you become bored and even at times lost in life, so it's always good to keep learning. My definition of learning is not too complicated because it's such a broad concept you can't really have a concrete definition. Learning, by my definition, is the process of understanding new content that has been presented to a user, and having them sink in said content for a broader understanding standpoint. It feels pretty repetitive but it's the true definition of learning, the concept of gaining new knowledge of something unheard of.

What Is CONTENT?
Tumblr media
Content Content Content. A constant theme and constant changing term when it comes to web writing and anything todo with creation overall. I've had many definitions from this semester alone on what I believe content is, but I feel for now this is my pure definition of Content. Content is the body of work or expression from a creator that has the intention of reaching a specific group or audience and have said group interact with said work in a constructive, engaging, and efficient fashion. Content in a way is something we all interact with on a daily basis, and whether we see it entertaining or awful is 100 percent depending on what type of audience you are.

Brainstorming Skills: Communication
How I see communication is through ones content and how one presents it to the audience. Content itself is very verbal even when theirs no words. Your content should speak to an audience and start a conversation amount them to fully be successful. I honestly feel this is the second most important skill one needs for a successful page due to the fact communication is used in the real world through content, work, and overall self-expression. You cannot live in the world without the understanding of communication and its impact. Communication is what makes designs and content move further or give constructive criticism for improvement.

Brainstorming Skills: Creativity
Creativity is a huge step in content creation and how one stands out from the others. This is how and why some people make a name for themselves or get an audience that sees that said content like other content they have had love for. Being creative in your content will make you shine and impact how the audience interacts with it, because if it was standard or "boring" you'll get the same type of energy back from your audience. Creativity in content learning is in my opinion one of the most important steps one needs to learn in order to run a successful page on any social media.

I find this very agreeable with me when it comes to learning. It's very much in the creativity side of things and I try to use the learning I get to focus on the next step in my designs!
What Do You Like Most About Your Learning?
What I like most about my learning is that I was able to gain a different perspective on creating content. I am used to getting the communications standpoint on creating content and not the writing or English standpoint. So I have learned quite a few things such as keeping audiences in mind and the importance of content strategy. Although I have learned this in my communications courses, this class helped with understand that these are the purposes for creating content.

I agree with this! I feel that creativity is a broad subject and is a key component in the designing of arts, and basically anything. I feel you summed it up perfectly.
Brainstorming the Skills: Creativity
Creativity is the process of using your personality in your writing or when creating pieces of art. I consider anything that someone can make a piece of art, so this category is very broad. Creativity can come in many forms such as using figures of speech, or colors, or images. Creativity is all about making something special to you that gives the audience a glimpse of who you are and what is important to you.

Feedback 3
Tumblr media
For my final feedback post, I wanted to show my title. Titles have always been a rough job for me, especially for a semi-professional manner, and I usually don't know how to really peak a viewers interest in that way. As we see here the HTWG part is very clean cut but when you get into the specifics of who this is for, its very grunge like and has a sort of movement to it. I guess what I'm wondering is if this is effective enough to get people engaged with this content to help with their own content, or if it comes off trying to be "hip" and "with it" if that makes any sense. I don't think it's not easy to create an introduction page, because this is what most judge before diving in...

This is my introduction. I feel that it gets to the point and what to expect out of the small guide I created for skate apparel content creators. I think what I'm not sure of is the direction of me expressing the importance of content creation enough. I'm not sure if I'm expressing my goal or tips well enough to have someone engaged enough to read it more. I feel the graphics work, however, it really gives off that grunge-like style that most see as the skate aesthetic. Overall, I'm trying to see if this is appealing enough an informative enough to help and entertain the reader

A have a section on my HTWG where I express the importance of consistency. I feel I have the information in a nice place and I feel the graphic is also put in a tangent way that the content creators understand the data. I feel, however that my color may be hindering. I chose black and white for the aesthetic of skate apparel, and the fact there isn't much color to begin with in my overall document. I don't know if that isn't good enough or if that is fine to be that way. I don't know if the exponential amount of information is too noisy and defeats the purpose of being easy to read. I'm basically conflicted haha

Content Creation...How is it?
For me, content creation has been going a lot better. I have a lot to work on this week especially because thanksgiving break is coming up and I'm going away...which means my time is limited on the creations for my content. I have a due date for an event for said content and I've been posting about it on my personal and art page on instagram (whosethnl & ethnl.kills) here and there. trying to work on my consistency and focus on audience alongside the abundance of work from college has been rough and hard, but I feel that it'll all b worth it once its all done. December 2nd...the SMC. Artist Alley.

A good tip
Consistency. I have spoken about this topic a ton but it needs more appreciation and focus than most ideas/ tips I have in my how to write guide. I feel this is a no brainer, but it's very tough to really get down perfectly. I have it named as a "goldilocks system" due to the fact you want your consistency not too much, to too little: you want it JUST RIGHT. The data I have to prove this system I created is in my content analysis data paper that I do use in my how to write guide as well! Honestly its easier said than done but it is the best tip I have within my guide.

This is a nice and simple tip that most overlook. One needs to figure out what kind of audience they want to gravitate towards and do their "homework" on what said audience will expect or enjoy. I think that's a solid tip that I definitely will take in for consideration with my own work!
Tips
One tip I included in my how-to-write guide is to narrow down your audience. The reason I chose this tip is because if you make content, you want to think about who will watch your content. Make the content according to how you think that group would like.

This was really cool to read about! I never heard of Canva, I usually us Adobe products so it's interesting to see how certain apps may work just as good or better than the ones I'm used to! Great work overall :) I also agree with the nice bullet points than having a large, overwhelming paragraph!
The Slide I Am Proud Of
Tumblr media
One slide I am proud of is the slide above which lists all the tips I talked about in previous slides. Shown on the left of the slide are the tips discussed in a condensed version while on the right of the slide is a fake TikTok profile I created on Canva. I see this post as a highlight over my other content for purposes: content design and simplism. Being an avid user of Canva I had a lot of fun creating a fake TikTok profile. The editing of the graphics was interesting to overcome and the design process framed me in the mind of a content creator. Constantly I had to ask myself if my photo looked realistic, if it could capture a person’s attention, and if it incorporated all the units of advice. A process that most content creators have to go through. For my tips, I am quite proud of my ability to summarize several slides of data down to the bare basics. As Dr. P had said no one wants to be overwhelmed by paragraphs of knowledge. Likewise, I believe I made my point with the fewest words needed to derive meaning.
